TTC after 35

What does your SO call his...

Sperm.

My dorky husband called it his "baby batter" yesterday and I fell on the floor laughing.

So what does your man call it?

  • No cute answer here either.  Last night we were talking and he told me he hasn't produced on his own since I was in the first trimester last pregnancy.  I thought that was sweet!  He is atleast aware of the need for his goods!  So there, I call it his goods
  • Mine calls his 'the troops', lol

  • My husband and I are gross, so--the crudest, nastiest slang terms for semen you know?  We use all of those.  When we're keeping it PG, we sometimes refer to the sperm themselves as his boys.  Except the x-chromosome ones--would those be girls?

  • Seed - but always in a Top Gun accent/sentence structure.  As in, "You (I) have the need - the need for seed."

During non-fertile days, it really doesn't get referenced, other than as maybe "the cleanup" (that which needs to be cleaned up).
    IUD removed 2/13/14
BFP #1 5/23/14, blighted ovum discovered at 7 wks, Cytotec for missed miscarriage at 8 wks 6/26/14
BFP #2 4/30/15, heartbeat gone at 8 wks, missed miscarriage again, Cytotec didn't work, D&C 6/12/15
Biopsy discovered was a partial molar pregnancy, on BC for 6 month wait and test
Trying again with Follistim/HCG trigger shots beginning January 2016
  • My DH calls them swimmers - nothing too spectacular there - but he also sings a little song to them after BD to encourage their swimming abilities.  It always makes me laugh.

  • @ewenner you think you can write that and not tell us his song.
