Hi ladies,

I've been lurking for a while and figured it was time to officially introduce myself -- especially after realizing I had commented here the other day after apparently losing track of which board I was looking at. Sorry about that -- I did not mean to jump in before I introed.

So, basically, here's my story. My DH and I have been married for 4.5 years and TTC for 3 years now. No obvious infertility dx, so officially "unexplained." We've done IUIs and lots of tests (some details in siggy) before moving on to IVF. First round ended in mild OHSS and BFN, but were lucky enough to get 12 frosties. First FET we got our first BFP ever. Saw a heartbeat at 6 week scan, but experienced a MMC diagnose at 11.5 week scan. D&C on 8/1. Test came back showing Trisomy 21 -- and that it was a girl. It has been a rollercoaster -- and I do not enjoy rollercoasters.

As for the future and TTCAL, we were hoping for a late October FET, but that is looking less likely as my AF has not shown up yet post D&C and I only have a couple more days to make that October window. So, we may be delayed.

I guess that is all the pertinent info. I am happy to fill in any blanks or elaborate if anyone has any questions. I have been (and will continue to be) active on the Infertility & Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss boards, and am hoping to be a part of this community, too, as we all move forward.

Me: 36, DH:37

Married 4/2010, TTC since 7/2011

Dx: Officially Unexplained (I have Polycystic Ovaries diagnosed via ultrasound, but few classic PCOS symptoms, he has mild MF issues. So... not issue free, but nothing so severe as to explain IF)

I also deal with post-surgical Hypothyroidism following Thyroid Cancer in 2009, but under control with Levothyroxine

4 months Clomid (thinned lining) and 10 months Letrozole (every indication that I responded perfectly)

6 failed IUIs in 2013, 3 with trigger

IVF #1 in March 2014

ER 3/21/14, 31R/21F, 12 frosties!

ET 3/26/14, 1 perfect blast transferred: BFN

FET#1 5/28/14, 2 "beautiful" early blasts transferred. BFP!!

Beta #1 (6/11/14) 798; Beta #2 (6/18/14) 7,966.

1st u/s (6/25/14) showed 2 sacs, 1 empty & 1 with a beautiful little bean doing what it needs to do!

EDD 2/14/15, missed miscarriage, DX: Trisomy 21. D&C 8/1/14

FET#2 Transferred 3 embies, 2 looking pretty good, one not so much. BFN.

IVF#2 January 2015, tentative ER 1/23

    Diagnosis: unexplained RPL, unexplained IF.

    Also have hypothyroidism

    Started TTC again 12/2013

     

    IUI#1:Clomid CD 3-7, Trigger'ed CD 12. IUI CD 14. BFN

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    10/2011: Clomid 100mg, IUI --> BFN
    04/13: Clomid, IUI BFP --> MC at 6w1d

    6/6/17: Fresh IVF Cycle --> Severe OHSS, 5 PGS-tested embryos frozen
    2/23/18: PGS-tested FET --> BFN

    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN

    So sorry for your loss. We lost our little girl to T21 at 11 weeks... after seeing the heartbeat. So devastating, I'm sorry that we have that in common, but am thankful for this board in bringing us all together in support of one another.
