We have a company store one that I bought in 2002. I bought the medium warmth down and it really does work for year round. We keep our house around 68 in the winter and I throw a blanket over us if it's a really cold night. I prefer medium because when the AC is on in the summer it's still not too hot.
Also, I bought it in the flax cover and use a duvet cover from PB. The comforter itself is still pretty much perfect with minimum down shed. I really like it.

Late April. It could suck, but we do have a window unit in our room that can cool the entire upstairs if we turn it on long enough and one for the dining room/living room downstairs so it didn't get TOO bad this past summer.
Our house is stucco and brick too, which helps keep the temp down.

You should be comfortable until June at least, that's good. And a window AC works well, I didn't even know if you had that.
There are always classy ways to stay cool, like kiddie pools with lawn chairs in them...one of my personal daytime favorites.

LOL at Fleet Farm. I spent half my childhood in that store, sadly.
A truck pool, at least in my hood, is filling a truck bed with water (lined with tarp first of course). So klassy.?

Hey, if you were going to purchase a truck pool, you would either go to FF or a feed store. I just guessed FF because there is one by my house. I still love that store, they sell truly unique goods.
I have never been in a truck pool. I might have to change that summer 09. Why don't they do Rock of Love - Truck Pool!
