DH is Indian, and we are looking for an Indian boy name that is at least two syllables; is fairly clear to say phonetically; and not extremely common (ex. Nikhil)
One we are considering is Ijay (prounced eee-jay, (can anyone confirm that is the correct pronunciation?) ....I know some may see it as Eye-jay, but I figure once they are told the first time its easy to remember).
Was also looking at Kavi, because I like how 'Kah-vee', sounds, but I believe the correct pronunciation is Kuh-vee?
Thoughts?
Other suggestions welcome, names that have been vetoed because they are already in the family, etc (Anil, Dev/Deven, Jaidev, Kieran, Vikram)
