Bloopers of the Week

Anyone have any bloopers to share from this week (or past weeks)? Figured we could all use a laugh to round out the weekend. Feel free to share yours or anyone else's you've witnessed .

While teaching my riding student on Friday, I decided to go the easy route and have her ride bareback (without a saddle) since it was raining off and on. We ended up in the field since a group lesson was working on jumps in the main ring. Well my young horse Legend gets frisky out there so about half way through she took him to a trot (gait slightly faster than walk) and he decided not to turn but run sideways tossing his head in such. She almost lost her seat and about had it back when my goober of a horse decided to forget his tantrum and eat grass instead. The sudden stop resulted in her rolling down his neck like it was a ramp to the ground. You know the completely horizontal roll we've all tried on a hillside atleast once when we were young. Don't think she could do it again if she tried but quite funny to watch. No worries promise no one was hurt just another typical horse day.

@EurydiceNymph‌ - Love bruchetta! DH is the same way though so I always have to make it for myself at home. Too funny that they all fell, I think I'm too messy of an eater for swanky events, it would have ended up in my lap rather than my plate.

My blooper may be tmi but I had to share it with you all. DH hated the idea of getting his SA done but agreed and yesterday morning was go time. We are in no way morning people, so having to get the specimen there by 8:30 was already making things difficult. We started at 8 hoping to leave by 8:15 but DH couldn't relax, so we didn't leave till 8:25. We got in the car and he apologized, I asked him why and he laughingly said "the swimmies are going to be bad cause they weren't made with love" I almost peed myself I started laughing so hard. It was cute and funny.

@kcrkcs - No stirrup November sounds fun! I use to take away my students' stirrups and saddles if they wouldn't listen to what I was saying about heals down or complaining about the saddle being to heavy when tacking up. Funny how that tuned them back in. Have you ever done the Ride A Buck class at a show? 

@HoldingOutHope‌ - The neck slide was new for me too but quite entertaining. Horses are so funny with their little quirks. This particular horse is a grass hog as he has even gone on his knees before just so he could eat grass - crazy thing. Also, I love your blooper, I'm horrible about getting lost in conversation and forgetting where we are though it always makes a good story.

@EurydiceNymph‌ - I would be shocked if I found someone that could successfully shovel the tomatoes from their bread to their mouths without spilling! Remind me of the scene in Big with Tom Hanks when he's going to town on those appetizers. I'm mobile so I can't gif but hopefully you know what I'm talking about!

So I had one to share from farm life that happened last night. After we got back from looking at a heifer to possibly buy and finished chores, I came in to change into my comfy/lounge clothes. I stripped off my bottoms and noticed something on my lower butt in the bathroom mirror. But it was small and I couldn't get close enough to tell what it was. I called H into the bedroom. I propped my leg up on the bed, lifted up my buttcheek and ask him if there was a tick on my butt?

He squatted down and said yup there is. Then he pulled it out.

Nothing says love like pulling a tick off someone's butt lol

@blackbird818 ~ This completely made me LOL! But, as someone with Lyme, it also creeped me out for you big time!! Make sure to keep an eye on it, ok? :-*

While I was reading this post on mobile last night my one cat, Lynx, decided he wanted to put my boot on his head (he does this often). He was having fun shoving his head in and moving about the living room. My other cat, Spots, decided to investigate. When Spots got close to Lynx, Lynx decided that was the perfect time to pick his head (in boot) up and hit Spots in the nose. I felt so bad, but couldn't stop laughing!
