QOTW- What are some of your favorite memories about going back to school when you were little?

How old is LO? 3 mos on Tuesday !

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Feeling good. Decided I'm not going back to work until November. This was a difficult decision for me because I will not be there in the beginning of the school year, but hopefully it will be a smooth transition for me in 2 months.

Challenges/Successes? Living off one salary will be hard for the next 9 weeks but I have to keep telling myself I'll never get this time back with LO.

Cute/Funny stories? We had visitors this past weekend and it was cute to see LO focus on us as other people were holding him. He did fine for them, but just wanted to make sure we were looking out for him.

QOTW- What are some of your favorite memories about going back to school when you were little? Lunch box snacks!! IE, Dunkaroos, Fruit by the Foot and Snack Pack pudding!

How old is LO? 12.5 weeks

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, I feel fine... no PP period yet though and I stopped trying to breastfeed a little over 2 weeks ago.  I barely had any supply but I'm still leaking a little bm and can hand express some, so I know the hormones are lingering, but not quite sure what is considered normal.  Emotionally, I'm pissed at DH.  He's stepped up his game with helping with LO but now he's screwed us over financially and I don't know how we're going to pay for daycare this week.  We sat down and talked about where we can cut back, but this isn't the first time this has happened, or the second or third... I just don't know how to handle it anymore.  He doesn't want to give me control of the finances even though that would be the best option.    

Challenges/Successes?  Success... we've finally found a good combo to help LO with her reflux and have successfully transitioned from the RnP back to the PnP on her back.  

Cute/Funny stories?  LO likes to look at the flower on her activity mat (it's the big toy in the middle that plays music) and smile at it.  The flower has a smiley face on it too, so I don't know if that's what she's seeing or if she just likes it.  It's the cutest thing ever.  

QOTW- What are some of your favorite memories about going back to school when you were little? Yes to everything @redmar said... but I also LOVED buying school supplies.  I'm still the nerd who loves buying office supplies and I have my favorite pens and things.

How old is LO? 3 months / 2 weeks!!!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?  Physically, I just wish I knew what was causing me to feel so light-headed all the time.  I think it is either low bp or my thyroid.  I finally have an appt on the 22nd with a PCP so hopefully she'll draw some blood and figure it out.

Challenges/Successes?  Successes - We've been able to put her down drowsy and she actually goes to sleep.  This never happened with DD1.  Challenges - I need to get her to sleep in her swing for her evening nap so that I can get a workout in.  But I just want to hold her after I've been away from her all day.

Cute/Funny stories?  She loves being tickeled now and loves giggling.

QOTW- What are some of your favorite memories about going back to school when you were little?  the crispness of the new clothes and the smell of the new clothes.  I would never wash them before hand.

@RedMar - welcome back.  I think I need to do a post tagging everyone again so they don't forget that we're here and thinking of them.

@Brittanic531 - I'm so sorry that DH is being a tool and stressing you out.  Hopefully ya'll can figure it out.

@kimmyberly26‌ - thankfully we have some awesome families that have helped us out. I told him though, that he has to get his shit together this time. I'm not doing this again. If we didn't have daycare or school loans, we'd be fine. He has ADD and so money management is not his strong point. I just don't understand why he won't let me do it. I hope you're able to figure out what's going on so you can feel better!

Hi ladies! Is been quite a week!

I feel fine. I started working from home this week. It is mentally draining to balance work and the baby. I'd rather just play with her, but I have deadlines.

Elle's food sensitivities are under control. Therefore, I can go back to having gluten and dairy. It was tough going for a while trying to figure out what I could eat. Plus, I felt awful each time her tummy was upset.

Last night, DH kept bringing me the baby in the bathroom while i was trying to get ready for bed. I wanted 20 minutes of alone time. Apparently, he figured out her sound for mommy and wanted to show her where I went. I didn't believe it at first. He went away and when she started again, they came back. I didn't grab her or stop what I was doing. She just wanted to see me. I thought it was so cute.

I always liked new supplies and new clothes. I still shop the back to school sale for clothes. DH has an addiction to office supplies, so I never need to buy those.
