UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (**Warning: Pregnancy mentioned - not mine)

One of my employees informed me the other week she was 12 weeks pregnant.  OK, I remember I must not be hateful and I need to be happy for others so I said congrats and all that crap.  This week I realized she is still SMOKING!! And she informed me she is having twins!  She is somewhere around 40 and I want to know how this is fair!?  She doesn't take very good care of her body, she is smoking and she is pregnant with twins!!!!!!  All I ask for is one baby and I do everything I can to try and make this happen and she has no issues!  Why does it seem as though people who really shouldn't have kids procreate like f*cking bunnies!!!!

OK, I feel a little better now that I have vented to all of you very lovely and understanding ladies

That just sucks.  I totally feel your pain.  I work in a NICU, so I'm constantly bombarded with this.  Hang in there.

A pregnant woman who smokes should be ashamed of herself. I am a former smoker (quit in 2007), so from experience I can say there is NO excuse! Gross!

I hear you! I work in an inpatient drug rehab and so many of the women I work with have CPS because their babies were born positive for opiates or lost custody of their 8 children and keep popping them out. Infuriating. (Add to the fact that I get a crap salary to help them doesn't help either).

It's just frustrating to see her every single day and watch her chain smoke.  I just can't understand how it is fair!  She's a nice lady and everything but still...I can't believe in today's day and age that she just freely smokes in front of everyone and they all know.

Ugh! I am so sorry. It always seems like people with what might be deemed "questionable" parenting (or pre-parenting) ability end up KTFU easily. It sucks!

Its sad but true.....my nephews egg donor mom is KU and smokes and is an all around demonic horrible mother. 

I was just being told about the mental abuse she is unleashing on my nephews by my brother's (their dad) wife.......i was crying while she was telling me. In gut wrenching emotional pain at the stories i was hearing. My nephews are beautiful beautiful boys who are going to be messed up beyond all recognition DESPITE my brothers and his amazing wife's efforts to do everything they can. The system is failing them......

I completely am feeling the truth in this post whole heartedly.

I am so sorry.  It is frustrating and heartbreaking to see non-ideal situations where babies are born.  I have to believe that just as I am a child of God those dear children are too.  I just want to say hugs to you and best wishes for a happy ending to your journey

Ugh, I became mad with you as soon as I read your post! I too feel it is unfair when women like that get pregnant and women like us who are doing everything they can to be healthy and stay healthy and can't get pregnant. It just doesn't make sense to me!
