I was so excited to take N to her first day of gymnastics today, which happened to be her first class of any sort, and I was greatly disappointed. The woman that substituted the class today was horrible. Today was the very first class of the session and there was no sort of introduction at all (mind you it's a class for fucking 3 and 4 y/os) it would have been nice to say this is my kids' very first class ever- So of course my kid did what any 3 y/o would do in that situation, which was listen for about 45 seconds, and proceed to run wild in this open gym full of shit for her to jump on. This instructor kept grabbing her arm and whispering harshly to her to "listen and follow the instructions" and she's just giggling and running around. She eventually put her on time out saying "Go talk to your parents" ... I'm just like .. UGH, so I spent the last 30 mins of a 45min gymnastics class, yelling at my kid to listen, when it was supposed to fucking fun experience for her. Now wouldn't you think a place that has classes for 1- 2- and 3 y/os would be PREPARED for this? I just think this woman was HORRIBLE, because on top of her being obnoxious to my little one, she was SO SLOW with what she was asking them to do, she was expecting these kids to wait 5 minutes at a time, just sitting there while she had one kid do an obstacle course.. I'm like really lady, have you ever fucking seen a fucking 3 y/o in your life??? Their capacity for patient sitting is 4 to 5 SECONDS, not 4 to 5 MINUTES, especially in a fucking open gym area, give me a break. 

I feel bad for my kid for that to be her first experience of any sort of class, and she was scolded the entire time for literally not knowing how to fucking act in that situation, and this lady not having the first clue how to teach a child that age anything. 

I'm hoping that the actual teacher is better than this clown, otherwise I will have to get a refund for gymnastics.

Oh man, that totally sucks.  Did she say why the regular teacher was out?  I hope it's better next time.  Did N seem to notice that it was so bad or did she even care?

@potatocastillo‌ That's terrible!! I hope the real teacher is better. Doing what I do for a living, I am always horrified to see people thinking that kids are miniature adults. They neeeeeeed to run and tumble. Sitting is NOT learning! But I'm preaching to the choir here. Ugh I hope the next class is better!

DD, DH is remodeling the bathroom still, which is great, but I have to get DS out of the house so the work can get done. So I thought, "Hey, how about the amusement park? That'll be fun!" Turns out it's CLOSED for a private event yesterday and today. Ugh. Thankfully I didn't tell DS about the idea. Back to the drawing board. It's supposed to rain today.. Maybe the zoo won't be crowded.

No she didn't seem all that phased by it, but she spent most of the 45 mins being scolded, I think she just didn't really care because the environment was fun? There was so much shit to jump on, etc. The regular teacher is a young girl and supposedly much, much better with little ones, and obviously if she's not- there will be no fucking gymnastics, because I'll be damned if I'm paying $300 for my kid to be yelled at for 6 months, I can do that shit myself at home, for free- I'm paying for her to have fun, interact with other kids her age, and learn how to do a MFing somersault.

I'm going to bitch for a minute about the fact that I got cancelled, way over stimulated on the same protocol I have been on previously and had completely different results, but basically I'm really pissed that I currently look about 5 mos preggo due to a ridiculous number of follies and all that crap. We have company this weekend and I'm constantly super uncomfortable because I'm constantly sucking in as much as I can so I don't have to listen to the OMG's are you KU? Okay I'm done

@designer303 - that is terrible - hope your company minds their own business...

@potatocastillo - FX the real teacher is better and it was a just a little bump in the road for N.  DD just started swim class at the YMCA today which is a little better because one of us gets in the pool with her - today DD picked DH.  We were worried we would be throwing away money too - $76 for 8 weeks - but she did really well.

I'm a little antsy with the IVF nurse coordinator being on vacation this week - and being forced to wait until Monday to find out my schedule for remaining tests and hopefully IVF start.  I am Type A - must have a plan in advance.  With work it will be a little tough to juggle last minute appointments.  This is cramping my OCD style.

DDF, the "points" that Fertility Friend adds annoy me. I'm 95% sure we are out this cycle but it adds points when I put things like bloated and cramps and irritable! And obviously PMSing to be this irate over a "fun" points game, lol.

Why the heck did I go to the trouble of getting a babysitter so DH and I could go out to dinner last night? As we were leaving DH decides to pick a fight with me about his family (always a sore subject in our home) so we ended up not talking during dinner and then going grocery shopping. Wonderful date night.

Totally.  The fight started with him saying "I told you about this"....I don't know about you guys, but whenever DH says that it's his way of saying "I totally fucked up and forgot to mention this but I'm going to cover it up and blame it on you which always back fires because it makes you so much more angry".

Lol yea, my H has a version of this too. So funny. I'll call him out and he's like " I did say xyz" No you didn't say shit, go sleep in your car.
