DS has gymboree this morning. Why did I pick 9:30 on Friday morning? I have already forgotten a morning OB appointment once this pregnancy, what makes me think I can remember to be out the door in time for gymboree?
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
Insomnia DOES suck. It's 2:30am here. Amanda was up in the middle of the night teething. DH got up with her for a bit, but she wouldn't go back to sleep. So I had to haul ass out of bed, give her Motrin, then sit with her until she fell asleep.
If I have to fully wake up in the night like this, I'm screwed for about three or four hours. I expect to go back to bed around 3:30 or 4:00am.
Also, I realised that Monster Truck is now the size of an avocado.... And I can't stop thinking of the episode of The Simpsons where Homer joins the army. Cletus is in basic training with him, and accidentally pulls the pin on a grenade.
"This avocado done give me a wedding ring"
It makes me laugh every time. Gif when I can get on a gif-functional device.
Good morning. Today dh has off but I work. It makes it hard to get out if bed even when he is elbowing me in the back lol.
Crossing my fingers for a better Friday than last Friday but that shouldn't be hard!

Good morning! @sugahcookie01 I am totally suffering from the dead arm due to side sleeping... It's the worst. If I can't sleep for one reason, I can't sleep for another.
I always wake up at 6 when the big man leaves for work.. But Fridays are the hardest because he has half days and I work all day today and tomorrow... So he'll be back here and lounging by the time I have lunch. Argh. Not fair!
I've been suffering from insomnia/ weird side sleeping side effects for a while now... I guess I'm (unfortunately) getting used to it... Ugh! I used to be such a good sleeper!
But.... It's Friday! The end of the first week of school with the kids... Whew! Hubby and I have a date night, and I'm 16 weeks today! Have a great Friday and a spectacular weekend, ladies
Wow, just realized I sound a lot perkier than I actually feel... Must be trying to psyche myself up for the kiddos
Morning ladies. Just realized I posted on the MoMs check-in twice before. Duh its for moms with multiples. Such a dumbass!!

Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months.
Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

@sugahcookie01, my hands fall asleep with side sleeping, too. I'm going to say it's a pregnancy thing because I'm a side sleeper anyway and this never happened before.
We visited our first daycare yesterday afternoon. They left a great impression and it seems likely they'd have something for us by June. We still need to see others, but this one has potential.
I'm so happy it's Friday. Pool, prenatal yoga, and dinner with my brother: this weekend will be fun.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.

Happy anniversary @jmcgra06 and ~O) to all the mommas that need it!
Adeline has been consistently sleeping from 8:00-8:30, no wake-ups and it is like heaven. I am trying to soak up as much sleep as I can get before DS is born, I don't know how long I'll be able to do the 800 MOTN wakeups again with 2 babies....A didn't start mostly STTN until 10 months.
We finally booked our villa for our vacation to St. John next month and I'm getting excited! I am also terrified of flying with A because she still has this lovely habit of screeching at the top of her lungs (like, ear-piercing sound) when she is bored/tired/understimulated/overstimulated. Any suggestions on something to keep a toddler entertained for 4 hours on a plane? It will be broken into 2 2-hour trips so at least she gets a break and will be able to move in between flights!

@lizjennings81 happy to hear you liked the daycare! I visited 2 so far. One is in a church..kinda of old looking but got a great vibe with the infant teacher This will be so hard

Pregnancy has made me a crazy light sleeper. Every time DH moves or breathes loudly Im wide awake. I politely asked him to sleep in the guest room next week so I could get a decent rest.
@sugahcookie01 I have the most hilarious story about arms falling asleep while sleeping!!
I was 17 or so, and when I woke up in the morning my entire arm was asleep, all the way up to my shoulder, but I didn't realize it. I rolled over and my arm flopped over and smacked me in the face HARD. I thought someone was in my room attacking me and started screaming and flailing violently. It took me a good 30 seconds or so to realize it had been my own arm... my parents got a big kick out of that.
We put a deposit down for daycare last week. Really glad to have that taken care of but crazy to think it's still so far away until we'll be using her!
I rarely have my hand fall asleep when I sleep on my side, but I've always been a side sleeper. I've always used a hug pillow too.
Looking forward to the weekend, I might actually meet up with some friends and watch them get drunk... Oh joy.
@sugahcookie01 my hands fall asleep all the time now!! It happened occasionally before and now its every night. So annoying.
18w2d and I weighed myself this morning. Bad idea. Its actually not bad at all its just shocking to me as a FTM to gain weight when I never have in my whole life before. I think I will leave the weighing to the the Drs. appts from now on.
Last night I dreamt about having a c section and eating nutty bars. Not at the same time. I want a nutty bar.
The other girl on my 5-person team is pregnant too - not quite 9 weeks. She told our boss yesterday. I was planning to tell next week and now I never ever want to tell.
DS woke up randomly 4 times last night. :-q Not cool.
The night before he sleeps though a loud ass thunder storm, but last night he's awake at 1AM asking for graham crackers... while his eyes are still closed. Maybe I'm going to have a sleep eater on my hands?
I feel like I got ran over by a truck today. Last night I puked and an had terrible heart burn and couldnt sleep.
today i feel nauseous and lije i could fall asleep any moment. im ready for today to be over so i can go to bed

It suddenly hit me today that probably I won't be staying with the school and the kids too long. I am feeling so overwhelmed. Teaching is like a passion for me and I have no idea what I will be doing if not that. I know I am quitting for a good reason and I am happy too. However, I am what I am because of these children I have taught until now. Okay, I am going to shut up now or I will end up in tears.
Not sure if this has been said yet, but the snacks thread is making me feel super unhealthy. I should probably step it up. I guess. After I finish all my unhealthy, awesome snacks, of course.

Does she like coloring or books? Lily loves reading so that usually works for us. She likes some drawing apps on my phone too. There's also some of the crayola color wonder stuff.
Also happy anniversary @jmcgra06! Enjoy your massage!
Just have to get through a staff meeting today, than i can start my weekend. Also getting a new living room set delivered at noon today. I'm beyond excited so think that just translates to i'm officially old.

Weird dream: last night on the news they had that Lebron James is auctioning off a custom car he had built when he was in Miami and showed the car which I think is pretty cool. So of course I was driving it (not well, I should add) in my dream. The steering was really bad and I was driving over people's lawns in my neighborhood. I can think of a few I would like to turf )
@BeckyP005 - have you had any updates on still working with the family you are currently with? I would have no problem at all with a baby bringing her baby to our house to watch DD - our current nanny does it all summer, and DD loves her son. Is that an option?
Our 4 year anniversary is on Thursday. We don't do gifts in our house but I'm tempted this year to get DH either a weed wacker or a box of cigars and necessary accoutrements.
Our weed wacker broke and the lawn is looking raggedy. We have lots of edging and landscaping that needs some attention. So that is a practical gift.
DH will generally only smoke a cigar when we are hanging at our friend's lake house or at the neighbor's pool. He never has his own and always accepts the offer a cigar from others.
Or do I do nothing and say the house getting cleaned on the 10th is his gift?
@ChickenOnSunday Do it! I am all about practical gifts. Would he be upset that you got him something and he didn't get you anything?
@WanderingA - we have a small carry on of toys. We wrap her toys in paper so it takes longer to open, and give her a new one every twenty minutes or so. Also, we are bad parents and let her watch Barney :-S
@nomnomasaur0426 drink more water try and get in over 100oz today. Seriously drink all the fluids. If you are drinking caffeine try and stop it but if you aren't you can try a little to see if it helps. Caffeine is one of those things that can cause or help headaches.
Also if you can try to stop the Tylenol I would. Tylenol is known to cause horrible rebound headaches and can cause a vicious cycle.

@jmcgra06 that's so nice of you! My boss told her cousin he can call me but he hasn't yet. His wife is also due in Feb. Not sure if they would even consider me or what their opinions are on letting me bring my baby few days. My mom and MIL can watch one day each..maybe another.
I'm trying to talk MH into letting me work 3 days and home two. We need to see if it's in our budget. I would need help in not spending lol. I find it sad that I would have to leave my baby at home to watch another even though that's what I do. KWIM? Thanks for asking!

He would see right through the weed wacker gift and know that I want him to take care of the lawn.
In that case I would go for the cigar. It is something specifically for him (unlike cleaning the house - which would have been done regardless and benefits everyone) and as a bonus, it is less work for you

Absolutely. That would make me sad, too! We got our sitter from care.com, and she is great if it doesn't work out with that other baby. I really think having another kid with Anna is a benefit to us, and would totally embrace it. She has so much fun those days. I work three days a week and love it! Good luck !
@holachicaaa, I haven't yet told my class. I teach the early years (5yrs). I don't know how they will take it. It scares me to even think about it. It's always hard on the kids to have a new or a sub teacher. I just wish I could continue with my job
