After all the research i narrowed down to 2 car seats the graco snugride click connect 35 or the britax b safe? Which is better?? Oh and graco has a 25 off going on!
Research is great but have you checked out the seat in person. Sometimes they have different features that make it easier on you. They should all have the same safety ratings.
We went to BRU and tried out a lot of different seats to see how they worked in person and that really helped us decide which was best. You might also want to pay attention to the size of the car seat and make sure you have enough space for it in your car. With infant seats some require the handle to be all the way down when locked into the base, some you can leave up. So that is good to check as well.
We had the B-Safe. Used it for DD and will use it again for this kid. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to because I've never used another infant seat, but I really liked ours.
It also may depend on what stroller you plan to use and the infant seat compatibility with it. We used the Britax stroller, so had no issues with compatibility and I didn't want to fuss with adapters and all that noise.
We actually didn't like our Graco Snugride 35. It was really heavy and I found I didn't want to take DD anywhere in it because it added an extra 10-15lbs on top of her own weight! Find a store that has both and test them out. Think about dragging the carseat to the store, to daycare, church, etc. and if you think you could handle (and if you need, put a few weights in it to test it )
Almost every parent I asked IRL told me they loved their Britax, and we went with the B-Agile stroller so it was an easy pick for me. But right now it has done nothing but sit in the nursery waiting so my personal experience is limited
I got the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 travel system. I picked up the car seat and didn't feel it was any heavier than the others at the store. Supposedly it's 19lbs vs. Britax which is 20....like I said not much different.
I just got the Britax B-Safe infant seat and have the Britax Boulevard for later on (thanks Gramma!). I'm a FTM though so I'm just going with advice from my trusted momma friends.
I love graco too, but I've never had a britax. My snug ride 32 infant seat got me through 2 kids, they were both bigger babies and they were very comfortable! I'm sad that my seat expires in December, but I'll probably just end up buying another one.
I ended up choosing the Graco snugride 35 with the Aire3 travel system, so far it seems like it will be perfect but since I am a FTM it had yet to be used. I like that it fits in my car and isn't obnoxiously heavy.
I was perfectly happy with my grace infant seat and have done Britax for DDs convertible seat and now a booster. I think there are fewer differences in safety on the infant seats and they use them for so little time. I'd rather spend the extra money on the next seats, not the infant seat.
We played with a bunch of strollers, carseats and travel system combos at BBB and found that both DH and I agreed on the Britax B-Safe seat with the B-Agile stroller. But then again, it's still sitting in the nursery patiently waiting...waiting...waiting...
I had the Graco infant carrier for DS1. It was a friend's that she loaned to us, and we used it.
This time we picked the Chicco Keyfit 30. The only reason I picked it over buying a new Graco was because you can adjust the straps with the child in it without having to turn the seat over and adjust from the back. I'd be lying if I didn't say I liked that there were more color choices for the Chicco as well.
DS1 has an Evenflo Triumph Convertible Car seat and I love it. We got it for him when he outgrew the Graco carrier so we've had it for quite a while. The straps adjust easily which is my main concern. It was a little difficult to install but we have one for each car so once it's in, we don't generally take it out.
I have no experience with either (we have a Chicco infant seat and Britax convertibles). I would recommend going to BRU or BBB and install each one in your car. Some seats are much easier to take on and off the base, install in the car, and adjust the straps when the child is in the seat (use a bear or something to test this part). All seats are safe so you'll be fine with either brand, but some are much easier to use than others, which is huge for me.
We put DD in the Britax and she dis not like it. The Graco is what we got for this LO (we got the 30 not 35) because it was a bit lighter to carry and, well...I have a completely baseless opposition toward Britax! Also, the extra bases were way less expensive and we need three total....so overall cost factored in.
Graco I guess. I can't even remember what We used for DD. Any feedback is appreciated. Yet I won't expect any. I can't believe I haven't gotten one yet.

Her response was not to you at all!
I'm so glad you posted this. I didn't even realize I'd be debating these exact two carseats myself and for some reason didn't think to ask the board.
