for real labor or just harder braxton hicks?

Ok so i have never been full term with my kids. i had my daughter at 29 weeks due to my water breaking...no hard active labor.. and a emergency c-section. I had my son at about 38 weeks via a scheduled c-section. but now i am 35 weeks and a day...and ever since last week..i get these hard contractions on one side of my tummy that shoot straight to my butt....then stop....then start back up again. they normally happen midmorning and late at night. i tried timing them...but normally they last for about a good 10-15 mins then go away. as of about yesterday ive been getting them for a about a hr straight...then they stop...switch sides...n we are right back at it again for another hour. Is this real contractions or active labor? I have no clue what its "suppose" to feel like..and should i head to the hospital?

If they go away after 10-15 minutes it's not active labor. Active labor will not stop. It sounds like BH, but have you talked to your doctor? Do you have a RCS scheduled?

"Real contractions" don't last for 10-15 min straight. They last 30-60 seconds in early labor.
