Pregnant after 35

When does energy come back after 1st trimester?

I've done this once before, but I don't remember. When does the energy come back? I know it is different for everyone, so this question is more of a poll than a "right" answer. I've felt *slightly* more energetic the last few days, but I'm only 9 weeks along. A few other explanations = catching up on sleep after the long weekend, and/or getting the nausea / vomiting under control so that I don't feel so tired from puking.

(Watch. Now that I posted this, tomorrow will be awful. Just watch)

  • That is what I was wondering. I've never been this exhausted before. Here I am almost 21 wks and I have tontake daily naps. One day last week I took 2 naps.

  • I'm 35. I had the first one at 33 and he's almost 15 months old. I don't know if he's making me tired or if it is the pregnancy. They're definitely working together though! With him, the M/S was so overwhelming that I barely remember the fatigue. I know it was there, but I don't remember when it went away. The M/S went away at 18 weeks.

  •  I did feel a lot less fatigued at 16 or so weeks. I mean, I'm still tired, but it wasn't bone-crushing anymore at that point.
  • I had ms bad until 11-12 wks got energy back at 14-15 wks! Now I feel great and I am 42 and have 2 1/2 yr old:) hopefully you will get your second wind soon!

  • Still frustrated with fatigue here too at 13.5 weeks.  I have a cold too, though.  It's probably adding to the exhaustion.  I think the worst has passed?
  • @NeonNoon‌ I am answering no as I wake from my daily nap. 21 weeks tomorrow. I-)

  • I got a smidge better at about 15 weeks ( meaning I wasn't falling asleep at my desk)  part of it was second tri and I think partly that I started drinking half-calf coffee in the mornings.

Now I still am exhausted after a day of work and pretty much have my pajamas on lying on couch or in my bed the rest of the evening.
