Nanny did what?

Hi all, sorry to jump in with a question without posting often, I lurk during hours long cluster feedings though

So, the title is my problem. I have no clue what the nanny did to my diapers. I left work early because she left my screaming 10 week old alone multiple times today (yay cameras). Then I fired her. Then I found my diapers in the washer on the sanitize setting, with the detergent scoop sitting on the top of the washer. Might I add we told her many times not to worry about cleaning, just the baby. Blah

What would you do? Mostly flats and prefolds with some covers, I think. Should I just start them over with my regular wash routine or should I do something else first?

When you say she left your baby alone, like she left the house?

Cloth diaper issue, I would just rewash in my regular routine. 

But explain alone

No, she didn't leave the house as far as I know. We have a couple cameras (that she knew about) and he was just hanging out crying with her nowhere in sight for 30+ minutes. She said one of the times she was doing the laundry. The other time she was cooking? Maybe not a big deal for some folks, but she knew our expectation was to pick him up when he cries and not leave him alone. We had already talked to her about once before.

The sanitize cycle still has an hour left, just wait for it to end? Then rewash?

Is she expected to cook and do laundry?  My nanny is only expected to take care of my kids and do light clean up of their toys/mess they make while with her.  Other than that, I wouldn't ask it, because I know sometimes I have to let Lola cry in order to get housework and cookout done.  I want my nanny to spend time soley with the kids.

No, we have specifically asked her NOT to do dishes, laundry, any cleaning at all. Her one and only responsibility was to take care of him. Yes, 10 weeks old is too young for us, and he is a very needy. I couldn't make it home fast enough. I let her go though so now back to square one, or quit my job

I'd say that's worse than pooping in your master bathroom without flushing. Just barely, but still.

sounds like she had to go.  Who the hell cleans when they don't have to?!?  And I agree letting a 10 week old cry to do stuff outside of her responsibilities is crazy.  Glad you let her go and I hope you find someone better for your little guy.

@Chickypoo2468‌ She brings her own food, and I guess, cooks it sometimes. I really don't know what she was cooking or what could have taken that long to cook. I had no idea this childcare stuff would be so hard.

The dipes seem okay, they are washing now about to go in the dryer. Thanks for the help with the diapers and the reassurance about the nanny. My wife is in D.C. for the week so it was a rough night over here.
