Re: Seriously?! Some people...

  • We were on vacation when I took an HPT. When I told one of my SILs that we were expecting, she just looked down, shaking her head, and said, "You don't need any more."
I smiled, told her we wanted more, and walked away.

  • When we told my BIL he said, "Why?"
    So that was nice.
ETA: He said it pretty disdainfully too.

My brother asked where the closest liquor store was, so he could stop on his way home. Uh...

  • I just got married so some people thought we should've waited....umm wait for what? I'm going to be 31 this year, and I want a minimum of three kids so, it's bout time to get this party started!

People are like, you two need time to spend together. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! We spend plenty of time together and it's probably about to be way more time since we're going to have to take care of a new baby!

    People make me sick!

Eh... I figure she just didn't understand. She's not me. Maybe she wouldn't want more, were she in my situation. All I know is I am uber-happy. And if we have a fourth daughter, that's fine by me (though we are hoping for a boy this time around). I also think she was thinking my kids will be 15, 13 and 9 when this baby is born. I just see how they will be an awesome help. My oldest is every kids' favorite sitter, and all their parents love her as well.
  • Ugh! People are so rude.... Why do they feel the need to say things? My partner and I are fairly young (he's 26 I'm 22) and people keep saying "should we be happy for you?"
I've had really bad morning sickness to the point where I was hospitalised for a while and I was asked by a colleague "do you regret it now?" Ummm I regret ever speaking to you, that's what I regret.

  • I've read all the posts on here and have laughed because mine is no different! My mom said "well I'm going to reserve my comments because you know what I think already"...why thanks mom cuz that makes me feel so much better. I can only imagine had you NOT reserved your comments. My coworker asked me how was I going to do it (I have 2 and DH has 2)...I just said same as I do now with an extra one. My MIL has been pretty quiet this time to my surprise because my last mc in Feb. I know she's dying to say something. I'll be at her house today...we shall see! Grrrrr
