Jasper.....what?

So, a while back I was posting about our little guy Jasper. We had decided on Jasper Atticus, but recently, Jasper Sebastian has grown on me. Makes me think of Bastian from Neverending story, which I LOVE (so much that I was planning to name my first son Atreyu as a kid-haha!) DH likes Atticus after To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm super torn now... Mostly just because I really like both, but partially because of the Nevernding Story connection.. I have time, but was curious what you ladies think. :) Our last name is Brown if that matters. (And yeah, I know, privacy issues... I'm not a worrywart)

Also, I stress that the Atreyu name idea was when I was a kid, no way I would actually name my child that now. Hahaha!

    I like Anders, but the repeating sounds with Jasper bug me. DH tossed out Hugo (sadly, love Hugol) Cole and Edmund are just "Meh."

    Nope :) But it is amazing. Sebastian Atreyu sounds nice...

    edit: Nope it isn't real, but yes I love it!

    Maybe if Basil's name wasn't so odd, I would consider Atreyu, but I think it's too much weird for one family. :) And his first name is DEFINITELY Jasper, it just fits and I'm in love. It took us a long time of talking boy names to find one we actually loved (over a year of TTC, and few months of being pregnant.) We have issues with boys names apparently, since we have a whole list of girls names we loved.

    There's always Jasper Atreyu... But I really do love Jasper Sebastian.
    It's definitely growing on me more and more. I'll have to convince DH though. He said he likes it, but Atticus was his suggestion, and I feel like if we changed it he would be a little sad since it's the first good name he has suggested all on his own. Haha!

    Haha! I should totally send you some of her bad pictures.She mostly scowls at me.  Today was her first day of kindergarten and it took me like 30 pictures to get ONE good one to send to the grandparents. She was SO excited for school but did NOT want her picture taken. She's a party pooper. :)

    Pups are good too. The puppy is becoming better behaved than my older one, which is ridiculous but helpful. :)

    I don't think that Jasper Sebastian flows well so I voted for Atticus. I know a baby named Atreyu. I'm told that he is named after the band, however. I believe they call him Trey. She also has a daughter named Journey.

    I'm not a fan of Jasper only because it was the mascot of my college (Manhattan College). I played for that school as have a ton of "Lady Jasper" swag still left over. Now Sebastian is totally my GP name. I love it and if I had any backbone I'd use it (our last name is a mythological creature and is now used as a hipster FN so it sounds like we're trying too hard to be cool) all that is me trying to say my vote is for Sebastian Atticus.

    I am thrilled you are using Jasper :) Love that name to no end. I voted for Atticus because of flow but I am just too taken with Jasper, you can't go wrong.
