Progesterone levels? What isa "normal" level that indicates ovulation?

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on here a while because unfortunately we had to put off our ttc journey for a few months because my hubby lost his job and we could no longer afford treatment. We're back on the ttc train now.

So a bit of history for me: been ttc since July 2013 with pcos. I figured out that I don't ovulate on my own. So I was put on metformin, and now I am on 100 mg clomid. I got my blood drawn for the first time yesterday and my levels were 6.0. The nurse that I talked to said my dr wouldn't be able to get back at me until tomorrow morning because he was preforming a surgery today. She said that 6.0 is decent but may not be enough to indicate ovulation. I had done some internet searches last night and different sources say different things. What do you guys think, what have you heard? It's frustrating because I want straight answers and I haven't really found any concrete answers yet, even online haha. Thanks so much!

That is great that you got AF! I feel like I am in a rut right now like no matter what I do I won't be able to ovulate, so I am happy that the numbers are at least a bit higher.

My 7DPO during a natural cycle was 11 and on clomid came back 15 during the first cycle and 43 on the second and third clomid cycles. I have heard over 5 indicates ovulation, but RE's like to see over 10, at least that is what mine said.
