@Ducky719 - Congrats for allllllllmost making it out of second tri!
@kmc84 - Hey, I'm an upstate gal, too! This is a great reminder about apple picking. Sorry you're feeling crappy!
AFM, my next scan is tomorrow and I'm vacillating between confidence and sheer terror. My symptoms are erratic, but never completely gone, even though I feel generally more normal that I did 10 days ago. This is the scan at which the heartbeat had stopped last time, so it's a huge milestone day for me, and I'll be lucky if I sleep tonight. I'm actually weighing the costs/benefits of taking a benedryl at bedtime.
QOTW: As I mentioned, I'm in NYS, so we definitely have four seasons. I love that fact, but fall isn't my favorite. I'm a big gardener, so fall means the fun and delicious veggies stop, although admittedly I haven't been eating many of them in the past month. Last winter was also pretty brutal, so I'm not emotionally prepared for more of that, which is what is predicted. However, I could get on board with hot cider (no whiskey, alas), firing up the wood stove, peeping at some lovely leaves, and crisp weather. Perhaps I'd like fall more if that wasn't when school started.

@pblge-- Hope everything goes great tomorrow-- FX!
Everything is going good here. I met with my OB last week and really like her and we slowly started to tell people over the Labor Day weekend so it's starting to feel very real.
I am also getting pretty bad MS. I was driving my DH to work yesterday and he had to take over the wheel because I was so sick suddenly. So he will be taking the train for the rest of the week, lol. We have a wedding in Upstate NY this weekend that I'm not looking forward too if this MS continues to get worse.
QOTD: I live in New England so definitely four seasons here. Can I look forward to Football? I also like the fall weather when it's not too hot but not cold either.

@Margritli thanks so much for posting the check in.
@Ducky719 you'll be in 2nd tri before you know it! Congrats.
Glad that things are going well for everyone.
@jszy10 How did I not know you are in PA?? Me too!
AFM- As far as I know I am very pregnant today. The cravings for meat, salt, constant nausea, and fatigue are telling me so. My body is starting to completely reject veggies, which makes me sad, cause I usually live off of veggies! All it wants now is crispy fried chicken and potato chips. :P
QOTW: I live in PA, so yes we get all the seasons. @pblge I get your fear of winter, we lost power for a week during the crazy big storm last winter. And as much as I hate heat, I'm sad to see summer go. Some of my favorite clothes are summer clothes(not that I could fit them now).

I would love to join! EDD 5/4/15 for one little bean! It's still so unreal to me that we have a due date!
We had our first ultrasound yesterday morning to see how many there were and will go back for the heartbeat on 9/17. I am also thinking my RE will release me then! The headaches and nausea come and go, but I am SOOO tired.
I love fall, here in Texas we do get a bit but probably not as much as others. I love the crisp cool weather, fall décor and football season.

@geordie314 - So glad everything is going well for you!!! Happy anniversary! What a great gift you two got. ;-)
@gsancho - Hang in there! You're doing great!
@jamielynn53 - Welcome! The wait for the first ultrasound is the loooooooongest.
@AMShark - As I write queasily and bone tired, even after a good night's sleep, all I can say is enjoy your lack of symptoms!
@Sha259 - What is it about the veggies that is so unappealing? I'm in the same boat, although two nights ago I got a VIOLENT craving for summer rolls. Had to have them RIGHT.EFFING.NOW. Realized I had al the ingredients on hand, so I whipped them up and it was delicious. Those are about the only veggies I've eaten in weeks. Boy, you sure sound pregnant! Hope it's a good sign. ((hugs))
@jszy10 - Tuesday grows ever closer! Hope it all looks great!
@KT416 - The carsickness is worse for me, too. Windows open, minty gum, watch the road. That's helped for me. Sorry you're not feeling well.
I didn't post an update as I put it elsewhere and didn't want to be an AW, but the u/s was great. Baby measuring right on target with a heart rate of 172! There are a couple of things I could worry about if I choose. First of all the gestational sac was a bit small, although still within the margin of error, and everyone told me it was fine. Also, my progesterone is lower again (43), and they want me to start weaning off the PIO by going to 0.5 cc daily, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Also a bit frustrated that they didn't graduate me, and they want me back once more next week for u/s and blood tests. This distance monitoring thing is not as fulfilling as one might think it would be, and I'm ready to be done. Obgyn appt is Tuesday regardless.
I have mixed feelings about the scans. On one hand, it's nice to see everything progressing as it should, especially as symptoms come and go (my "blump" went away, which was scary!). On the other, I get so anxious in advance that I'm not sure they're worth it. Head in the sand seems preferable. :-/

Hi all! Sorry I'm a little late to the check in, I'm having trouble with my mobile bumping so I can only respond on my actual computer, booo!!
I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and its so weird because I feel like time is going by so slow yet so fast. I keep thinking "Oh man....only 10 weeks...." but then I think back and remember I've been pregnant for 6 weeks and 4 days and it doesn't seem like its been that long!!!
Feeling a little better....still twinges of nausea but I'm eating a lot more last week or so. Good thing or bad thing? I don't know! We had our first OB appt. last week and it went great baby is on track!! Our first MFM appt. has been scheduled but that's not for another 2 weeks.
QOTW: It's September, which means that fall is right around the corner. Do you have this season in your neck of the woods? If so, what's your favorite fall activity?
Yes technically we have fall but we're in the Chicagoland area and our seasons tend to blend. It might be fall for like a day and then it snows, LOL. I just love smelling leaves burning and being able to get Pumpkin Spice Lattes...half caff nowadays
