DD started preschool this morning. As
@LibraryChica recommended, we talked the hell out of it. Read Llama Llama Misses Mama. Went over the routine a thousand times. Talked about how much fun we were going to have. So I walk in with her, go down to the classroom, and luckily the "before school care" kids turned the corner just as we were putting her things in her cubby. She grabbed my hand and started yanking me toward them. "It's kids, Mommy!" The other kids went in, and DD followed them. The teachers were great. One of them was at the door greeting and the other was blowing bubbles and encouraging everyone to catch them. DD turned around long enough for me to say goodbye, then she was back off to catch more bubbles. No tears, no drama. I got teary in the car post-drop off, but that was it!
