Does anyone experience it? What does it look like? It looks like blood.
I've had bright red bleeding for the past hour - light, but it looks like period blood, not old blood.
Is ovulation bleeding usually bright red?
It's typically spotting, not full on bleeding.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
Implantation bleeding/spotting is rare. The only way to know that is not the start of your period is a positive pregnancy test. Want to complain/SQUEEE about possible IB? Please participate in the 2WW thread. Please remember, implantation does not normally occur untill 7-10DPO.
Good luck! Read the Newbie Blog, it's very helpful.
Edit: I just assumed you meant implantation bleeding.. I'm not aware of ovulation bleeding.

She's asking about ovulation bleeding, not implantation bleeding.

Yeah, I noticed that after posting.. Disregard my comment, OP. Except for the good luck part!
@CFearsy my fault.. Lol.. I assumed op was asking about implantation bleeding. Gave her info from newbie blog.. But she was actually asking about ovulation bleeding..
I tried to give advice.. But I gave the wrong advice. It's probably time for bed. Lol Edit: app is a pain
I've had O spotting, but it's just that... spotting. Not full on blood. This time I had O spotting and it was so light pink that I had to hold it at an angle to see the pink. Sometimes it's brown-ish.
I used to get ovulation spotting with most periods, but it was just that, light spotting that lasted less than a day, and yes, it was bright red. This time around, since stopping birth control in May, I had one crazy cycle (I think the second cycle off BC) where I had way worse than usual cramping/bloating/fullness during ovulation accompanied by more blood than I'd ever experienced before, but it was still much less than a period flow and also stopped in a few hours. It was also bright red.
I'm not sure if that helps at all, but that's been my experience.
TCOYF had a good (albeit short) discussion on ovulation bleeding that I thought was really informative if you happen to have the book.
I get ovulation spotting from time to time. For me, spotting is when I only see blood when I wipe. So it's not actually a flow of blood, more like tinged CM. Mine last 1-2 days.

I've had ovulation bleeding before, but like @KingLED said, it is spotting, rarely a flow.
ETA: I see @KingLED addressed the IB issue as I was typing
