Heart burn remedies? You're killing me smalls!!!

Ugh guys, I feel like I'm dying! 15 weeks 2 days and my heartburn is so bad! I go to the doc Friday and I'll see if she'll put me on something (did with my other two) but even milk burns! I want to cry and barf constantly. I still have ms which is 24/7 and massive migraines. Smalls is kicking my butt! Anything you found that works??? I'll try almost anything!

I have a friend who SWEARS by celery. She put the head end of her bed up on bricks (to raise her head) and would crunch on celery sticks.

I always got by with some tums, but my heart burn was never that bad.... I'm a little broad across the beam (I have a wide pelvis), so I don't really get as cramped and squished as some do.

I hope you find some relief!

First thing first is to cut out dairy, it makes acid reflux and heartburn worse. I sip on water, or suck on ice chips it doesn't help it heartburn much but it helps the sick feeling you get especially if it is rising into your throa

My doc suggested Pepcid AC as needed. I get the worst heartburn when pregnant. Hope you find relief soon.

My SIL swears that a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar works wonders. I don't know if it's pregnancy safe, it didn't work for me but it works for her and her sister. The baking soda and water thing didn't work for me either if you were thinking of trying it

I've heard pepcid or zantac work but again not sure if it's pregnancy safe, another poster may know

I too had really bad heartburn at 15 weeks. I drank coconut water after researching on the web and it helped immensely.

I had terrible heartburn pre-pregnancy and was taking omeprizole (Prilosec) to treat it. Had to stop taking it when I got pregnant and switched to Nexium because it's classified as a class b drug. However, my Dr's office had it as a class c and wanted me to stop taking it and switch to tums and Zantac. This combo didn't touch it and I was eating so many tums a day I got severely backed up. I switched back to Nexium and have zero heartburn. When I went in for my last appt they were fine with me taking it. Good luck. Heartburn is the worst!
