Hi ladies, FTM, due end of October/beginning of November.
I want to BF for at least 6 months, but will return to work after 8 weeks.
I'm utterly clueless about BFing, so in addition to my hospital's BF class later this month, I'd like to start reading some books.
What has been most helpful to you? Most practical? What should I steer clear of?
I appreciate your help, and can't wait to join you in the next several months, thanks!
Re: Reading Recommendations?
sweet sleep: nighttime and naptime strategies for the breastfeeding family
it has a lot of great info and is really reassuring. sleep is a big concern in the early months, and a lot of other sleep books advocate scheduling and sleep training which are sometimes at odds with EBFing.
not a book, but the website https://www.kellymom.com/ is an absolutely indispensable source of up-to-date info on all things BFing related.
My favorite is "Breastfeeding Made Simple."

I appreciate all the feedback and can't wait to start looking!
