Rash and sposies

This morning I noticed redness around LOs legs, where the leg elastic was. It extended out some, so it looked like it was more than just a fit issue. I put some Burt's bees all purpose ointment on it. Since then, we went shopping and changed her diaper once. I just changed it again, and now it's like an all-over redness.

I bought some green tubed Bordreaux's (sp?) paste to try. I have some nystatin on hand. ( at 9 months, the doctor thought she might've had a yeast rash. I used it maybe a week, as bleached, but it went away really easy). I don't normally use anything. I use BG pockets mainly. Could it be yeast again? Even though it's not splotchy?

I use tide on her diapers, which is what I've always used. No other changes I can think of.

If it is yeast, do I need to use disposibles? What's the reasoning? Just to get away with multiple bleachings? Sorry for all the questions.

Hard to tell without seeing, but my first impression wasnt yeast. But if you used Boudreaux's I would use sposies.

Gah. I was trying to get away from using them. I put it on with a Bummis liner and a prefold. The worst I've heard is possible staining. Correct? The all natural shouldn't repel?

Oh with prefolds and a liner, probably not too bad. I dunno.

Maybe it is splotchy. Note the 2 lines at the crease. That'd be where they meet. Yeast?

And can I say how hard it is to take a pic of a wiggly 10 month old, who's trying to grab the phone.

Are you noticing any kind of smell coming off the diapers?

No. At least, not yet.

Smooth. And it was wider than the elastic. Both made me think it wasn't due to fit
