Gun to the head I would go with Thor it has a better flow. I get a little tongue tied saying Thorsten after Anders.

We hesitate with Thor because of the whole superhero hype, even though my husband has liked that name forever.

We hesitate with Torsten because of the en/on endings together.

@Joy2611‌ before we all came to know and love "Thor" as a Marvel comic book character, Thor was a Norse god. A friend of mine has a strong Norwegian heritage, and her sister named their son Thor. It's really no different than naming your kid, say, Athena.

My family is average height, his side is tall. So it's a toss up!

We were joking that if he is in the bigger side, we would go with Thor, and if he's smaller, go with Torsten.
