Big, huge hugs to @chicagobride07, @Love4Labs826 & @mm29. We all know how gut wrenching this can all be... hang in there. I'm really hoping that better times are ahead for all three of you @marshmellowevening, I'm praying that all is well for you and your little fighter. @Sammer818 & @datingbettyboop, holy crap, what a scare!! I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm really glad that everyone is alright.

@Twinkie0612 - I didn't know exactly what category to put you in around here... But I can say that I'm so excited for you! I hope your next big move is FINALLY IT!!! And, don't take this the wrong way or anything, I mean, you're always welcome around here, but I hope you never come back 'round here no more, no more, no more

My Update: So, in case you missed my post last week, I am daydreamer34254! I was finally allowed to 'come out' to my sister about our DEgg plans (DH wanted to keep it top secret with the intentions to share with our immediate family if we became pregnant, but he finally saw how much I needed to talk to my sister about this). 

Our test results are coming back from Dr. KK and it looks like we have some things to work on... on top of the poor blood flow to my uterus, it seems that I also have a blood clotting issue, a Vitamin D deficiency (no big deal, I'm sure I'll just take some additional supps), and a possible autoimmune disease (though according to Dr. Google, it could be a false positive or I could be among the 15% who is perfectly healthy with a positive ANA). Bottom line: I'm so glad that we didn't cancel our appointment with Dr. KK. Hopefully all of this stuff can be fixed. 

We are still waiting for our hopeful donor to go in to repeat her baseline testing. We have the 'luxury' of time, so I'm trying not to get too paranoid about this... but does this seem to be a red flag to any of you? She is 31 y/o and had a baby less than a year ago, so I'd expect that her periods could be a little irregular... or do you think that could be a sign of her fertility being impacted by her age?? Hmmmm.....

QOTW: I love when we go out to Chipotle. Yummmmm! I know it's not the fanciest place, but I just love the casual environment, and the food is so good. The only way to make the place better would be to serve beer. But the guacamole is so good that I can see past that

RunCC37 I hope all your testing comes out fine!  I'm glad you were able to come out and post under your RunCC37 name.

This is the week of FET #2.  I did acupuncture on Friday and am going to go in right before my transfer and right after this Friday.  I figured it can't hurt. 

I love most Mexican food restaurants.

We'll we made a error... When dh did my first estradiol shot this past thurs he royally messed up... We figured it out sun morning as we were going todo my second shot....
He used the 3 ml syringe thurs morning and gave me like 4x the estradiol I should of had. So I called our re and told him what happened sun morning and sure enough it will mess up my lining completely. So needless to say we have to start all over. I was so upset but I know accidents happen. Just wish I hadn't already spent like $1,100 on my intralipid and Lupron shot..... Huge financial mistake... And no sept transfer. Probably like late Oct or nov. So stupid!

Hugs @Lacyj67‌ Still on bcp. I had a dream last night the donor had her retrieval and no one thought to call and let us know. I love all food so much, but there is one restaurant near our RE we call our infertility restaurant because every time we have a consultation or big appointment that requires both of us we go there. Best fish tacos ever!

Update: I was stimming for an IVF with my eggs/DS cycle but it was canceled because my follicle stopped growing and E2 fell. The plan is to wait for AF to start and then start a testosterone priming protocol. I was hoping to incorporate HGH, but it’s looking like the cost does not make sense considering our poor prognosis. It’s kind of our Hail Mary while waiting for donor embryos. 

@McIrish, Good luck at your glucose test tomorrow  

QOTW: My favorite restaurant is local. I love Layla mediterranean grill & mezze. Everything is my favorite, but if I had to choose, Moroccan Chicken is my favorite. The chicken is oven roasted, bone in chicken breast rubbed spices, cooked with dried apricot and chickpeas in fragrant saffron cream sauce and served over saffron couscous. It’s so freaking delicious!

--SAIF update--

Simone is 11days old! I still have moments where I cannot believe she's real, or that I grew and birthed her. She's a pretty good baby and so far, so good on the breastfeeding/sleeping, etc. front!

I sent my RE flowers when we got home from the hospital and I'm putting together a "birthday" gift for our donor. We've written letters anonymously a few times during my pregnancy and it feels right. I got her something at our transfer (Dec. 2012), but that was thanking her for her eggs. Now I want to thank her for giving me the chance to have a real baby.

Otherwise its crazy how much people say Simone looks like me! I guess time will tell. We did not pick donors who looked like me or J, though perhaps there is something to epigenetics...There is a sort of familiarity to her face, but really she kinda looks like "newborn face" more than anything.

QOTW: We live just blocks from this amazing Caribbean joint that has the best Cuban pork roast sandwich in America. If you google it (paseo Cuban roast sandwich Seattle) something like 4,000 pictures of the sandwich come up! It's in Lonely Planets guide to Seattle so it seems there are always tourists in line. But it is epic, and we know to phone in and pick up; not stand in line. Sometimes the line is (no joke) 100 people long!!!

Hi! I'm waiting for AF so I can start cycle #2 of iui. Soon as she comes I'll start with my ultrasound one day this week. I'm on clomid and injectible protocol. Got great news last week that everything is fantastic for a woman of 35 so I'm ready to start the ball rolling.

I just don't know what to say, everyone of us has had tremendous struggles and losses of some kind.

The kind of stress this puts on us all (including partners) just leads to more issues.

EAIF Update:

We had our first third tri appointment with Squirt last week. HB hanging steady at 150 bpm, first bpp screen scored 8/8 and our GC doesn't have GD. All good news. Squirt was 3 lb. 15 oz. and in the 60th percentile for weight.

IuI was Saturday the Dr was pleased with DS numbers. 16.5 mil and 71% motility which was awesome for a frozen specimen. I'm trying not to get to excited. We'll Be doing our beta I think on the 15th.

My favorite place to eat is olive garden o chipotle.

Update: my lining check last week went well and I had a 9.9mm TL so transfer is on for tomorrow! I fly out tonight, and hope this will finally be the one!

QOTW: I have this little Mexican place by my work and I am ashamed to say that sometimes I CRAVE it. It is so good. I limit myself to how much I go though, because otherwise I would be 400lbs. I always get their chips & salsa and then get their Chicken Enchiladas Verde. It's lunchtime here and just talking about it makes me hungry!

Update : I have my nursing consult with SIRM Thursday. I need to schedule my mock transfer, figure out how to ship our embryos and the other logistics of cycling out of state. Gotta do what I gotta do, so I'm trying not to stress too much about it.

Overall, I've been doing better lately. I'm not sure if it's because we are not actively cycling, (like I was planning on before we got my results) or because I have a little false hope that maybe this change in protocol could work.

Qotw: one of my favorite meals is at a local Mexican place. Pomegranate margarita and hard chicken tacos are the best
