Question for you knowledgeable ladies....
I've only been ovulating for 4 cycles since coming off BC April 2013. Of those 4 cycles, I've had a very small (if any) temp drop at O, followed by an LP of 8 days or less. According to temps and opks, I O'd yesterday and had a huge drop then huge spike this morning. Does a significant temp drop and spike tell anything about how
strong/weak ovulation was? I'm thinking it probably doesn't, but hoping
that maybe it does. You can see my siggy for my chart. TIA!

Re: Question about temp spike and O
Anyway, many things can give you a temp spike: poor sleep, oversleeping your normal temping time, alcohol consumption. I wouldn't read anything into individual temps, all you're looking for is a shift.

About the weak ovulation...I had read some things before that said it could be caused by low progesterone levels. Who knows. I guess I'm just wondering if having a big dip/spike means anything or not.

If you have a luteal phase of 10 days of less for 3 months, bring it up with your doctor. One short LP is not necessarily a big deal, but consistently short LPs are worth discussing.
ETA: you have several temp spikes and dips over the course of your chart - are you temping orally or vaginally? Vaginal temps tend to be a bit less rocky.
