On Thur I had my regular MFM appointment at 31weeks and everything look fine with all 3 babies. Then on Friday I started having mild contractions and was sent to the hospital. After several hours they sent me home, my contractions had stopped and I was only 1 cm dilated and my cervix was measuring 2.3. Then yesterday (Saturday) I started losing my mucus plug, but no contractions. Does this mean my babies will be here soon or can it still be a while?
I started losing part of my mucous plug (didn't know it at the time) - 3-4 days before, than had contraction and was admitted to to L&D and my water broke 2 days later. So I guess it was about a week but I was just 28weeks. GL - but you are doing ok at 31 weeks congrats on making it that far. High fives.
For me, it was 2 days but I was having contractions & was 35w. I know that you can go weeks and it can regenerate itself as well. Hope you keep your babies inside a little longer but you are doing great for triplets = )
It was maybe a week or so? I was in denial about a bunch of labor signs bc it was early - irregular contrax, losing my mp, being dilated/effaced - and then my water broke at 34w.

For me it was 1 day later - I wasn't 100% sure that's what it was and I didn't even really notice the contractions b/c I'd had BH for so long. I was sent to L&D for a pee test at 34+1 to check for proteins and found out I was in active labor, 3 cm dilated. Gave me a shot to try to slow it down, but too late. Delivered via emergency C-section a few hours later. My son was in the NICU 11 days, daughter came home the day after me.
If you think there's a chance, GO TO L&D. Your babies will survive if born at 31 weeks, but the longer you can keep them in, it's exponentially less time in the NICU. Your OB would rather you be safe than sorry and give you as many checks as needed to stave off delivery.
