Good morning Bug, sorry your computer is being a douche!
Hubby just finished week three of six away at school, I sure do miss him! I'm still waiting on results from all of the various tests and such I've had done in the last few months, my ultrasound this past week was the last of them. I was getting anxious waiting for my head MRI results and two weeks after it was done still hadn't heard back, so I called the clinic to see what's up and was told, "Oh, your doctor wasn't concerned and didn't request you to come back." WTF? I mean, great he's not concerned and all, but wouldn't some indication of that be nice to alleviate the worry? At any rate, I've still requested an appointment with him to go over the results, even if he doesn't see immediate concern in my MRI I'm still having all of the troubling dizziness, headaches, and other weird symptoms which led him to order the head scans in the first place. Fuck!
So, I'll see my GP on Sept. 9 (my 41st birthday, yikes!) and then my OB on Sept. 22 to review the bloodwork, PAP/cervical biopsy, and ultrasound results and see if we can figure out my abnormal bleeding (sitting on day 18 of continuous bleeding today and I'm so done with it all!).
Oh and just a funny little anecdote - when I was in the ultrasound waiting room, there was also a prison inmate with two armed guards there waiting for an u/s, legs in shackles and hands cuffed behind his back and everything. A little boy came in with his grandma, saw him, and his eyes got big and round and he said, out loud, "Why is he locked up?" Grandma shushed him and quietly tried to explain that he was sick and needed help too; the inmate just chuckled and jingled his leg chain. It was hard not to laugh at them!

@gscoville I'm glad your MRI wasn't concerning but TP to your doc for not letting you know. If he is no help with your symptoms then I would request referral to a neurologist. I know pintobean has meniere's disease and has similar symptoms so you may want to page/pm her.
I made my RE appointment for October so this is my last full cycle before the appointment and then I will be the TWW for the following cycle when I go. So I am assuming that means a cycle for testing in November. Of course I still hope that I won't need intervention but I really need to know where my numbers stand, at least. I am currently CD 5 so in the boring part of my cycle now. I hope to have better timing this cycle since last month I was out of town for work when I O'd.

I don't care if he was not concerned (well, I'm glad he was not) he should have called you! That is just so inconsiderate! I'm glad you booked a follow-up. They still need to figure out what is up - and even if it is not something dangerous, it still can be jacking up your hormones.
You might ask your OB about doing 10 days on provera. It seems counter-intuitive to me (since we here about it being used to bring on bleeding) but it is also for unusual bleeding. My OB had me do this and, after the first provera induced cycle, I'm on day 12 without any spotting or bleeding whatsoever. He explained that if your estrogen levels are off (which could explain all of the spotting) the provera gives your body the progesterone it needs to re-set. Not sure if it will work in the long term, but it has been a relief to have a more normal cycle so far.
And yay for your hubby hitting the half way mark!!!! He will be home before you know it.
Thanks for the check in @buggirl72. I hope all is well with you.

I hope you get answers and a good plan going forward. The RE might have you start some blood work when you come in but, more than likely, the following cycle he will have you in for a baseline u/s and CD3 blood work. He might also try to get an HSG scheduled for that cycle also.

How exciting! I'm sorry they did not have any to freeze. How did your RE feel about the quality of the ones transferred?
@Lesliem0901 I have everything crossed for you. Good luck!
This past week I had my HSG and all is good. So I have the ok to continue with TI and this medicated cycle. Has anyone here taken me d's that cause a constant sour taste in your mouth. It has lasted about a month and it is not pleasant?
@tlc35 I really hope you get your BFP this cycle and can avoid the RE all together, but if not at least you have your plan in place. FX for you.
@gscoville I am glad your doctor wasn't concerned, but seriously, they didn't tell you!? Doctors seem to forget that their patients aren't psychically able to divine test result. Geeze. I am glad you insisted on a follow-up anyway. Sorry you still don't feel well. Did they do a spinal MRI as well? Maybe you have compressed discs in your cervical spine?
@lesliem0901 FX for you! I hope the 2WW goes quickly!
AFM: I started charting/temping this month. So this morning before I added in today's temp crosshairs showed up for CD11 (which would have been Thursday). I know I had 3 rising temps in row, but 2 were taken at a different time of day (due to shift changes at work) and one of those was after imbibing a decent amount on Friday night. I didn't start my OPKs until cd12 because I didn't get a positive until cd14/15 (midnight) last cycle. I don't think I have Oed, personally. Thoughts? My chart is linked.
Otherwise I have an appointment on Wednesday with my OB and I have some questions about where I am and what we are doing and my fibroids so hopefully she will give me something to work with.

I don't remember having a sour taste with any meds. Have you talked with your doc?

Thanks for all the great advice! I'll definitely mention the provera option to my OB when I see him. I'm glad you're having a more normal cycle, I can truly appreciate what a relief it must be!

No spinal MRI, not that I know of anyways. I originally had a head CT done, where they found what looked like fatty lipomas/lesion in my sella turcica (the little cup of bone in which the pituitary sits). Didn't look serious but they wanted to investigate further, thus the MRI. I don't know if a cervical MRI would be included in a head MRI? I'll certainly be asking for a referral to a neurologist, I like my GP but he doesn't seem concerned about my symptoms. I guess I'll see what he says at my appointment and go from there.
@meredithcarole Did you see my reply to your post on TTC after 35 regarding your chart? ETA never mind, I just checked and saw your reply.

they should be able to see most of your cervical spine in a head CT/MRI I would think. I have compression at C6/C7 and I think there is something funky going on at C1/C2 as well. I get occasional dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, and numbness in my arms/hands from it.

I am a bit late, my sister and her fiancee were in town for her 30th so we spent most of the last few days in Annapolis and DC with some breweries and wineries in between. While I had fun driving around some drunkards, I am tired and a little glad it is over.
@gscoville I am sorry your Dr did not bother to call, that is messed up. I hope you get it all sorted soon.

@mereditchcarole I hope you figured out the temping, good luck at the OB
@furrypaws Glad to here you got an RE you like, and hope your H does not need an ass kicking!
AFM: I am 12 dpiui and refuse to test even though my H is on my ass about it. I prefer AF to the rejection of a pee stick. I am scheduled for bloodwork regardless on 9/4. The last time I was pg I did not get a positive test until 3 days after a full out AF so my RE does not trust my body. Fair enough.
@HoldingOutHope I am so sorry for the passing of your grandfather. You are right about death bringing out the worst in some people. It happened when my grandmother died and my uncle decided to move into her house without paying rent to my mom or her other brother, yet he was collecting rent on his own house. It was (still is) a fucking mess. I hope things calm down for your family. I am glad you found your dream home. What area of FL?
TTCAL January Siggy Challenge: Animals in the Snow
@HoldingOutHope, @furrypaws and @meredithcarole sorry you all have to deal with that, I have an uncle who pulled the same crap, taking over his mother's house, ten years after stealing all his aunt's money somehow. All I know is that that was my college fund and supposed to go to my Mom (her aunt raised her). I refuse to deal with the man anymore than I have to.
Today is the day I officially join you ladies. 35 today. Can't wait to get to know you all better.

Hi all, just checking in after the long weekend. Not much to report here. I'm on CD10 of our last cycle TTA and the, assuming all checks out OK, we'll me moving on to meds + IUI next cycle. It's been since February that we've had a TTC cycle, so I'm feeling more than ready to get this show on the road.
@holdingouthope I'm so sorry about your grandfather. Talk about having a lot going on in your life... keep us posted on how things go with the monitoring. We're rooting for you!
@gscoville I hope you're able to get to the bottom of what's causing your bleeding, or at least make it stop!
@tlc35 I hope you won't even need the RE appointment, but if you do, I'm glad you're making that move toward getting some answers and a plan in place.
Hi ladies...@HoldingOutHope So sorry for the loss of your grandpa. FX for a great cycle this month.
@tlc35 Hoping that you don't need the RE, but glad for you that you've found someone. I'm asking around for a recommendation if we need to go that route in a couple of months. This September cycle with be our 4th month post D&C, so I figure 2 more months, then I'll be going in for some help.
I'm on what I THINK is CD2...my cycle is sooo wonky, I'm not sure what is going on. Just some intermittent spotting, but I should be well into a heavy flow by now. Wish my body would just get back to normal!I'm so worried that I'm not even ovulating, so back to temping and ordered more OpK tests. I also need to calm the F down...I know the stress is definitely not helping!

Been MIA lately just trying to deal with life- haven't been in a good place for giving support, so I apologize.. We're finalizing some details for an upcoming vacation and it's put me in a bit of a funk. We've had this trip in the mix for a while and when trying to get things nailed down, I feel like everything is a reminder that I was supposed to be 7 months pregnant during this trip.
I feel like I did really well the first 2 months post loss this time but as soon as we got my test results and got my MFM appointment scheduled, everything started bothering me. I feel like i'm in an f'd up two week window just waiting to get to my MFM appointment and figure out what kind of plan we're putting in place. I definitely feel lost without a plan, especially since we got no answers with our testing- just seems like it's going to be a lot of wait and see.
Ugh- sorry to be a downer ladies- I wanted to at least check in and touch base. Hopefully I can get in better spirits soon

@meredithcarole - I like your CHs much better now! How did your appointment on your fibroids go?
Hey @buggirl72. If it makes you feel better, I got busy and didn't realize you hadn't posted Yes, I like the actual CH much better. The CD11 thing didn't make sense to me given when I got the +OPK last month - it would have been a dramatic change. I am also glad to know it is CD15 and not 16 or 17 (with a 26 day cycle for the last 2 cycles).
As for the appointment, I think it went well. She didn't have my latest ultrasound to look at, but she was relatively confident that fibroids would not have caused a 7 week loss. She said a lot about the fibroids depends on there position. She said she would do testing before the end of the year if I go through the next 2 cycles without getting PG. That would put us at the beginning of November. At that point we can do another ultrasound to see what the fibroids are "up to," and do a lot of the other tests I have heard mentioned here. Thanks for the 2nd check-in @buggirl72. I think the end of your commented to me was unfinished or something and now I'm dying to know what you meant about my age, ack! (Note the Kathy reference)
I've been faithfully temping since CD1 and its fascinating and confounding to see it zigzagging all over the place, hmmm. Anyways, looking forward to OPk testing later this week and getting the hubby prepped for copious BD, heh heh heh

@buggirl172 we are trying one more IUI using Femera instead of clomid before we reassess things. I want to be more aggressive and my husband thinks I need to be more optimistic/patient. I had at least 3 possibly 4 eggs trigger (all 18-22) last time with another 4 smaller ones that were around 12 I think. My husband's count and motility (though not that great) were up but the morphology was still off. My RE thinks I responded too well to clomid and does not want to risk multiples, hence the drug change. I am a triplet so I think my judgement is a little clouded here.

@buggirl72 Thanks for running the check-in!

Have you talked with your doc?

they should be able to see most of your cervical spine in a head CT/MRI I would think. I have compression at C6/C7 and I think there is something funky going on at C1/C2 as well. I get occasional dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, and numbness in my arms/hands from it.

The RE said they looked really good. Two 8 cells and one 6 cell on a day 3 transfer. I have a cute pic of them as well as the ultrasound pic after they were transferred.

My Ovulation Chart
Hi ladies-
Been MIA lately just trying to deal with life- haven't been in a good place for giving support, so I apologize..

Hey @buggirl72. If it makes you feel better, I got busy and didn't realize you hadn't posted
We will hope that it isn't necessary, but it will be good to know the next steps if it is.
