I don't find most newborns cute at all.  I mean women are always saying how cute they are and commenting on the other boards and I look at most of them and think "gag me with a spoon".  I really hope I don't feel that way about my own kid one day.

lo!! this made me laugh I had similar thoughts earlier when I was lurking!! You have to remember its their innocence that makes them so sweet!!

usually not until they are a month or 2 old.  Really before that blech.. and I don't know why..

I definitely do not think ALL newborns are cute. I have seen some that I have been like "whoa." Most of them though just melt my heart.

eh, most newborns kind of look like aliens. I still think they're cute, but not like they are when they're older.

I agree a lot of times its their sweetness that makes them cute.

I bet you'll think your own is the cutest thing ever though.  But I work with newborn babies and I have come across some very ugly babies...they are definitely not ALL cute.

I think they start to look cuter once they put on a little more weight...usually, to me, they look much cuter by 3-4 weeks.

I think they all come out looking like little angry old men.  Then they get really cute with a little bit of weight and some clothes.
