I stop to get a diet coke at a gas station on my way to work pretty often. I have to look through all of the diet cokes to find one with the best name on it. It's preferred if it's LO's name, but my name (which I've never seen), DH's name or any friends or family members names are okay too. If I don't see any of those, I'll get one of the generic ones that says "friends" or "family." I can't buy one with some random name on it.

Not sure if this is a confession, but a low parenting moment this morning. LO was wide awake last night for 2 hours, and I finally got her back down. I got back in bed and a loud crack of thunder woke her up. I was so mad I started ugly crying and screamed into my pillow before getting up. Teething makes her want nothing but the boob nonstop and it's exhausting. Ugh.
I'm having an emotional time weaning, as I mentioned in another couple posts.
I'd be lying if I omitted that one of the things I'm emotional about is that I no longer get extra BFing/pumping calories and am going to have to be much more careful if I don't want to gain a ton of weight or, God forbid, actually lose some.

I cannot remember when LO and I woke up this morning. This is bad because we have been trying to do the 2,3,4 nap time schedule. Now I don't know when his first nap should be.

Sometimes I find myself trying to guess your guys' first names. Like not in a creepy way, just in a..."so and so seems like a Julie," or whatever. @golfergirl08 was "Paige" in my mind for awhile, and @elf828 feels like a Haley. I'm sure I have more but those are the first that come to mind.
When I've found some people's real names I kind of had my mind blown.

Totally agree. The feels are already so intense, I mean, remember the positive compliment a bumpie drama? Awards would probably send some over the edge never to be heard from again.
We did that on the July'11 FB group--I don't remember if anyone GBCFBGed over it, but it was funny that people were confusing the "klassy" award for "classy."
I had a dream I was making out with Ben Affleck, we were at a mutual friend's wedding (for the record this mutual friend was a totally made up dream person because, sadly, I don't believe me/Ben run in the same circles). In the dream we both were like, yea we're cheating, but it's NBD because we're just making out. I was so, so sad when I woke up. Sorrynotsorry Jennifer Garner, he was totally hot for me.

FFFC1: Since DH has been away for 3 months, I haven't really wanted (or needed) to shave my lady bits. Mainly because 2 kids and I'm lucky if I have enough time to wash my body in the shower, much less shave. Soooo, the other day I took out the scissors and cut it like that instead.
FFFC2: DS1 and LO were in there with me so I could watch them and I thought I had DS1 distracted with his bath crayons... nope. I turn around and find him staring at me as I'm playing Barber shop over the toilet. I bribed him with a candy bar so he wouldn't tell anyone. Because 3 year olds are story-tellers. :-SS

I think people miss out on an amazing experience (read: dorm life, etc., NOT education) when they don't live away at college.
One of my big regrets is not going away. My bf feels the same. We both went to college in our 20's though. This is why we plan to actively save college money for LO. Who will no doubt not want to go either

Those books are Amazeballs. You should also read the Red Pyramid series (I think it's actually called the Kane Chronicles.) They are also by Rick Riordan, but about the Egyptian gods. I had quite the erudite discussion with a 10 year old about them recently.

oh! I remember my real one! I looove my dog and 2 kitties but when they go to pet heaven (or hell for the girl cat) I don't want more pets for a long time. I love them lots but it's so much work with a LO and I'm always so concerned that LO will get scratched or bit regardless of the fact that none of my animals have done that before.
eta: and the guilt of not being able to give them my attention 24/7 like before is eating me alive!

MIL called last night, worried about DD. (She is congested-no fever). She asked DH if we were taking her in to the pedi today. Since she is acting like herself, with only a runny nose and slight sleeping problems, it didn't even cross my mind to take her in. We are already sucking her nose out every few hours, and have the humidifier going.
