LGBT Parenting in Ohio

I know this is not the particular thread this belongs in, but I wanted to cross-post it to see if I got responses here as well! Thanks!

My partner and I are going full force with having a baby this year. I am so worried though about the fact that my partner may not have all the same rights I will. Does anyone who lives in Ohio or know the rules of Ohio have any recommendations on what we can do to ensure she has the same legal rights as me? We are not legally married, but if that would help to go get married in a state that it is legal then we will do that. Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
