We have been pretty set on our sons first name since we found out we were having a boy. However middle names wise we totally had no idea. I had a few posts here asking for suggestions and opinions which were helpful for sure.
Over the weekend my little guy failed his NST. We go 2 times a week for NST (non stress test) monitoring because of Gest. Diab. This is the 2nd time he failed. He had a heart rate deceleration into the 80s for over a minute. The Maternal Fetal Med. dr called my OB who sent me right to the hospital. While at the hospital we were supposed to be hooked up to the monitor for 2 hrs. During that time he had another deceleration so we stayed over night and were told that if it got too much worse we were in for an emergency C Section and just over 35 weeks.
LONG story short, we were released and bumped up to 3 times a week NSTs (they think he is stepping on or playing with his cord but want to keep an eye on him)
Because of this scare, we went into planning mode over time. Which included getting the room finalized, washing baby clothes etc. We also finalized his name, so when he decides to come he will be:
Cooper John :-)
