Any suggestions for a middle name to go with Carol?

Is Carol being used on a girl or boy? Serious question. There is a male character in Where the Wild Things Are named Carol and also I know a young boy with the middle name Carol after a grandfather.

My DD is Adair Carol (named for both of her grandmothers - how convenient) and I think Carol is lovely.

I think something longer like Carol Elizabeth or Carol (insert your maiden name or family name you'd like to honor)

Carol Brooke? (maybe too much noun there)
