Since everyone else is doing it...SUPER late intro =)

Hi ladies,

I noticed that a few moms are doing intros recently (and maybe they just joined, I didn't) so I thought I'd come out of my shell and do it too. I've been checking out this board and posting comments (not excessively) since probably May. You ladies are hilarious and just what I've needed to get a laugh most days of this pregnancy.

I'm 27, married to my best friend since 2012 and 34 weeks pregnant with our first child, a baby boy! I've had a normal, healthy pregnancy up until about 4 weeks ago when a routine lab came back with elevated liver enzymes (huh?). My doc put me on mild bedrest and asked me to keep a close watch on my blood pressure at home as well as come in for weekly NST's and office visits to monitor everything. Had a 2 night stay in the hospital last week as follow up labs showed that the liver enzymes went up again, they told me to prepare to soon develop pre-eclampisa. For the past week I've been on pretty strict bedrest and doing my best to stay sane. Appointment yesterday revealed that the enzymes went back down to NORMAL! I'm to stay taking it easy but am so relieved and hopeful that I will carry to term and not develop pre-e.

We have one kitty cat (I think I posted her picture on one of the "Fur baby Friday" threads) and a full on home renovation going on. Praying for less construction debris before baby arrives but prepared for ANYTHING at this point.

Anyway, that's me! I love reading everyone's posts and the pregnancy humor is just what I need as I'm the only one of my friends who's pregnant right now and no one gets it, ha. Now that I'm on bedrest I'm going to try to be more active on these boards!
