I really strongly dislike little debby/hostess style snacks.  The last time I really ate them was every once in a while in high school, and then recently had a twinkie - and barf.  That was super gross.  Maybe I'm just not eating the right ones, but I figure I'm better off without them ;-)
They always leave me a little disappointed too. They don't live up to what I remember then being when I was a kid. Although, every now and them a Suzy Q does hit the spot but then I just feel gross afterwards.

  • More of an FFFC than an UO but I'll be taking Will in for his checkup tomorrow and probably won't remember....

I side eye some of the parents at jacks school. We live a half a mile away and walk whenever possible. So many kids live so much closer and their parents drive them. Some even live within sight distance of the school and I will see them get in their cars, get in the drop off queue and then drive back home. Next door is a 5th grader and two houses down is a boy in jacks class and his older sister. I've offered to have the kids walk with me both years and no one has taken me up on my offer and these are parents that I know!

I think middle names are incredibly important.  I see over on the Baby Names board people commenting on things with, "it's not like you're going to be using it very often [in reference to a middle name"

IDK.  I've just always loved middle names, combining the first and middle names, and using them often - though not all day, every day.
Alex doesn't have a middle name so neither does Grayson. I have no idea why his parents didn't give him one but he wanted to carry that on with his son. I think that is just as important as a middle name.

I don't know that if we have another boy if he'll have a middle name or not. If we have a girl then she'll have a middle name and she'll either have my middle name of Ann or we'll give her a middle name in honor of one of our moms.

  • I hate caramel , milk chocolate and cake. This could be a driving force in my dislike of little Debbie snacks.

Middle names are uber important in our world. We have used them to honor maiden names or deceased family members in our family. Which is good because it have us an out for the ridiculous hyphenation going on for DH that I refused to keep going.

We live half a mile from school but it's across a busy street and on my way to work so I'm going to have to figure this out down the road. In big on walking if you can but not sure of the logistics down the road.
