It's Gone!

I'm going to make a new post for this because I am so relieved and happy.  

I just talked to my dad and he said the pet scan showed that the chemo worked and the lymphoma is completely gone!!!

He still has to deal with his thyroid but the doctors don't seem particularly concerned about that becoming a huge issue.

It has been a really hard year for us, with all of the shit that has been going on with siblings and cancer and other things so it's really nice to have some awesome news.  I'm really happy guys.  

I also want to thank you all for being here and listening to me vent and whine and whatnot over the last year.  This place has really been a refuge for me and the support I've gotten here means a lot.  So, Thanks!

What a relief! So happy for your family!

We are going through the same thing with my dad. His last chemo (hopefully) is next Tuesday. Hoping for a clear PET scan a week or two after!
