I'm sure this is old news, but it's our first experience with fevers. He's had colds and everything before, but never with a fever over 100.5
Anyway, just curious on what your theories are on medicating a fever? I'm on the fence. He's acting mostly normal, just tired. It's in the 101's (rectal & temporal). I'm debating tylenol. I know it can't hurt, but I know that fever's can do good things for fighting off illness.
Also - Any tips of giving him soup?? He would do ok with a spoon, but dribbled a lot out and I'm unsure how much he actually had. Would a straw be silly????
Just to add:
I'm going to call the doc later today if it doesn't go away - he has a compounding issue of Hirschsprungs (an intestinal disease that he had surgery for) so he's at an increased risk for intestinal infection throughout toddlerhood. He doesn't have other warning symptoms though, so not urgent at all yet.
Re: Sick baby

@tee18 I hope your LO is feeling a little better. And a straw for soup would be a great idea. Hell, my DS loves to eat yogurt with a straw than me feeding it to him.
