TTC AGAIN CHECK IN 8/27

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. 

A check-in will be posted every week. Please reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC. 

 

Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in.

Jessylane8- 8/20 No update for me.

 

Racheyt0227- 8/12 CD 1 was yesterday. I have a meeting with my RE tomorrow to discuss FET. 

 

MrsAmyDylan-8/20 AF showed up this morning. Awesome...a 27 day cycle. I'm dragging my feet about calling the RE.

blueberries8 – 8/6 BFP Beta 1 220!

 

Chiwifey-8/20 Had my CD 3 blood draw yesterday, froze it overnight and shipped it to C.CRM this morning. They should have results to me by Friday. Saying my prayers and having faith that everything is going to be ok. 

Efhoping2010 -8/20 No updates from me just hoping September works for me to go for my ODWU for IVF #4.

 

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own.  Praying for that little miracle to happen.  You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha  I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own.  If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period.  Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating.  We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!  
fullfhope – 6/4 - I have my follow up with RE on 6/12.

itsmevkb -8/20- We did the transfer last Monday of our one little frosty and everything went smoothly.  Yesterday I tested and got a positive.  I'm literally shaking typing that out.  I'm scared.  Scared of something going wrong, scared of having a crappy beta on Wednesday, scared of where in the world we're fitting another baby into our house, scared of just everything both good and bad.  

JBDamonm-8/12 Had my appointment yesterday. It went really well. I left feeling optimistic and less overwhelmed about things. I did my infectious disease panel yesterday and am going to call on cycle day 1 to set up saline sono. Assuming that goes ok, I can jump right in if I want. But as of right now in leaning towards starting on the following cycle, but I seem to be changing my mind with the direction of the wind on this one. Not going to think about it for a few weeks! 

 

KDR19179-7/16 I haven't been on the bump in awhile because I have been busy with the twins and work, but we are in the process of going back for our single frozen embryo. We don't tell many people IRL when we are going through IVF cycles, so I would love to talk about it somewhere! CD day 1 was July 10, I saw the RE on Monday. I'm taking estradiol 2mg 3x daily. I go back on 7/21 for an ultrasound and blood draw. The embryo transfer is scheduled for 7/28. We only have 1 embryo left and it has about a 65% chance of surviving thaw. If it survives thaw, it has a 27-30% chance of pregnancy. I love swimming, but don't get to do it much. I never thought I would want a pool until we had kids. If we had a pool, I think I would swim every day in the Summer!

LauraBeth1401 – 7/30 Also in the 2ww.  Beta is on Saturday and I'll probably POAS on Friday.  *sigh*  Trying to keep busy but I wind up overdoing it and my DH gets peeved at me and tells me to sit down.  Not easy with a busy 18 month old!  

 

mg0202 -8/12 Baseline blood work and ultrasound tomorrow. If the cyst is gone and everything looks good I will be starting meds.

 

mnj05 – 8/20 I got my cycle moved up a bit early to qualify for a teacher discount my RE gives. I start Lupron this Friday and should start stims on the 31st. 

 

MoFree –7/30 I should probably move into the 'TTC with treatments' category since I am now taking BCPs for IVF #2. So far so good, with no unwelcome side effects. We'll see what happens when I start Lupron. We are going to do PGD this time because of DH's genetic condition and two failed FETs despite 'ideal conditions.

 

Pam MG – 8/20 Follow up with the doctor tomorrow afternoon to plan the IVF that I said I would never do again. 

 

Pinkmickey24-8/20 Just waiting to see if AF shows or not. I'm pretty sure she will and will be here just in time for the first day of school. 

 

trigirl79 – 8/20 POAS over the weekend (10 or 11 dpIUI) - BFN. but it was mid day and still early. i'm trying to to lose all hope. i keep imagining i am having symptoms but i think this cycle is a bust. sigh. not sure where we will go from here if that's the case. beta tomorrow

STL34-8/20 About 7 dpo and counting down the day until my second opinion appointment a week from Friday!

 

Second opinion appointment is August 29!!  I'm hoping things go well with this RE!!

 

Phishgirl29- 8/20 CD1. Sitting out this cycle while I heal and they make sure they got all the scar tissue with my ......wait for it......5th salinesonogram in 2 months. FET next cycle!!

 

Bellalou – 6/18 Aiming for a fresh cycle on the house in October.

FF gave me fake CH again this cycle. I think I will probably get a positive OPK today or tomorrow and O maybe Friday. I have an GYN appointment tomorrow to discuss my 8 day LP. I am hoping he will give me a prescription for progesterone so all this TTC on our own isn't wasted. However, I am going in there with extremely low expectations. I am trying to wait until Jan to see the RE because of insurance.

I love cooler weather (not cold), the changing of the leaves and pumpkin patches and hayrides with the kiddies.

No updates from me just hoping September works for me to go for my ODWU for IVF #4.  DH has some meetings in the "Rockies" in the next few weeks, I am hoping and praying we can squeeze in a ODWU if I go with?

IUI #3 was a BFN. We have to meet with the RE to discuss next steps - currently that meeting isn't scheduled till 9/18 but we are on the cancellation list. On BCP for this month to keep my cycle regular. Hoping for a more aggressive IUI in mid/late Sept before moving to IVF (and hoping we don't need to do that at all)

I am on day 6 of lupron and I'm starting to feel the irritability creep up on me. I have my baseline appointment this Friday and if all looks well, I'll start stims Sunday. My RE has switched to doing freeze all cycles but DH and I had some concerns since last time we only ended up with one blast out of 6 embryos and the rest arrested. We've all decided to go the fresh route unless lab work suggests a pregnancy wouldn't be sustainable, then we would convert to a freeze all. QOTW: I'm not a Halloween person. We don't really have fall here either and I'm jealous of those who do.

We are heading out of town mid September. I'm thinking I should call and make an appointment with the RE for after we return. 

Qotw: I love being outside! Summer here is so hot. J is dying to be outside. We pretty much do all the summer stuff here in the fall...wahoo! Play grounds, train park, zoo, yay!

I have a tentative FET date of Oct 5th! I started BCP & will start Estrace once I am off BCP.

Salinesonogram was amazing the morning. No more scare tissue and he even said that I have a follie measuring 14 and we could even try on our own this cycle ) he thinks I will ovulate on Sunday and that I should get some OPK's and get to it with my newly "reconstructed" uterus. Anywho, FET is scheduled to start next cycle. They called my med in so hopefully they can get creative with the billing because progesterone is so expensive!!

GL to everyone cycling.
I had my baseline b/w and u/s today and start stims tomorrow. I'm only modestly excited, mostly terrified and already wondering how I will handle another failure. We are doing PGD this cycle due to genetic issues. I am trying to take it one day at a time but the 'what ifs' are filling me with dread and anxiety.

Doctors appointment was very disappointing and walked out crying wondering if we would ever get another child for the first time. He was all over the place but we are going to do testing on the next batch of embryos next time due to the previous IVF where we had 7 great ranking eggs and only 1 took. Class is next week and plan to cycle October/November.

Hi All. I updated last week and nothing has changed. We see the new RE next week. So far the girls on the phone have been really pleasant to work with. We are wanting either a gnrh pump for DH or to just throw our few sperm up there in an IUI attempt and otherwise plan on OAD if those aren't options. At the moment I am ok with that.

Why don't you just go to a us clinic and get the pump? I can't remember where you are in Canada but there must be a place close to you. Also I will PM you another idea.
