MOTN laughing?

I'm pretty sure we're going through what some of you have referred to as the "wakefuls". But is it common that they wake up laughing? DS wakes up every 2-3 hrs talking and laughing. I leave him for about 10-15 min before going in to nurse bavk to sleep. But omg, it is not funny! This laughing in my face at 1, 3, and 5 am is not cool!

Yes! DD did this at 12:30 last night! 

I love the baby giggles though - she just started laughing over the past week. It is the SWEETEST sound.

DS was up at 4:30 and again at 5:30 having a whole conversation with himself! He wasn't upset and I didn't need to go get him. It would've been cute if it wasn't 4:30am!

DS laughs all the time in his sleep. Its especially funny when he's in my carrier on my back and I hear the giggle and the up and down of his body.

I find he smiled in his sleep before he did it socially. And he laughed in his sleep before as well.

I wish my little guy would do this!!! Instead he occasionally will just scream in the middle of the night. Just for a couple seconds and then stop. I check on him and he's just laying there sound sleep. It's a bit creepy actually...

I'm dying waiting for DD to giggle! She made some sort of a noise earlier in the week when I was making monkey noises. I kept desperately trying to get her to do it again, but no such luck. I only wish she would giggle in her sleep. Oh, I also wish she would sleep

Not going to lie, I LOVE the laughing and conversation! But I never know if I should leave him be or go in? He's so darn loud!

DH actually laughs in his sleep it would always crack me up when he would fall asleep on the couch and just start laughing. I found out his mother does it as well and surprise to us one night when LO busted out in his own sleep giggles.

LO started cracking up one night when she was still in our room maybe at 5 weeks? It freaked me out. It sounded like those creepy clowns. I mean I love her cute laughs but in a dark room when I'm sound asleep at night and didn't expect it was terrifying. She started squealing the other night from about 4-5am. I checked on her and she was just wide awake smiling and squealing away. So hard to be mad about losing sleep when you see that smiley baby face.

One of my LO's was dozing off and would keep waking himself up by smiling. It was too cute.
