I couldn't wait until tomorrow because I'll forget. I watched Black Swan last night and I was so disappointed. I'm surprised at how critically acclaimed that was.
I think anklets are really pretty and should totally come back into fashion.
Did they go out of fashion? Damn, I have one I still wear on occasion in the summer. It's very pretty.

I watched Frozen for the first time last month and while it was good, I didn't think it lived up to the hype it's getting.
Oh yeah. Totally agree.
Me three. Too much singing. I don't think I've ever heard a song as much as I've heard "Let it go". My Daughter has sung it all freakin summer.

Agree. Wear one anyway! I love how they look. I put them on my babies too...
I just never see them anymore. But I saw a girl wearing one today and it looked really nice. I have ginormous cankles though, so I will probably never wear one again.

Changing the days of regular threads is completely out of line.
Had the thread title not said Wednesday I probably would have thought it was Thursday and my whole day would have been off!
I was dropping the kids off at daycare and it took me a moment to realize it was Wednesday and not Tuesday. I was worried that I had forgotten to write out a check for the week.
Online shopping is so much better than in-store. Everything in a store gives me anxiety: the customers, being asked 100x "can I help you find something?" And being pressured to make a purchase
Online I can look at the same item for ten days if I want and no one cares. Much better!

I would agree with this 100% if I lived in the US. Canada just isn't the same. I love online shopping but I hate the ridiculous shipping charges a lot of sites have when shipping to Canada.
I don't like button-down shirt dresses. They don't look professional at all. Especially when they're inmate orange. You look like you re-fashioned your county jail jumper. Not a good look, chica.

I don't like button down shirts. I hate collars, I can't stand the way they feel around my neck.

I think the als water challenge is stupid. Basically all of Facebook would rather dump ice water on their head than donate money to research, fighting a debilitating disease... Way to go guys, you helped no one.
Also, email and fb forwards "you must do a b and c or you will die and go to hell" seriously? Put your time to better use people!

You're supposed to donate $10 if you do the ice water and $100 if you don't.
Oh, well, on the rules people posted in my feed, it was either donate, or dump. So I was disappointed in all the people dumping. If they're still donating, I can get behind it.
ALS is a horrible, horrible disease. I've worked in two ALS clinics at different hospitals and it's just awful. It's my top disease that I say, "I hope my parents never get this." I say "my parents" because it's typically seen more in older patients, like most diseases, obviously. Though I have seen it in a 34-year-old guy. He used to come to the clinic with his 5-year-old son. Broke my heart. I think people with ALS have spoken out about the challenge and the general consensus is that any awareness-raising tactic is a positive thing.
What I don't like is all the similar challenges that this is going to spawn. "Jump in a mud pit for diabetes!" "Get kicked in the groin for cancer!" "Roll in dirty cloth diapers for meth addicts!"
I don't get the first day of school pics. Kindergarten or first grade? Sure. But every year? I just went to school when it started. No one took pics of me.
Also, S is doing school in her PJs right now. Wouldn't make a very impressive first day pic lol
Yeah, I'm down for pre-k and kindergarten, but after that, I think the yearbook photo is enough. Someone I know on FB just took a first day of school pic of her 11th grader...

I just realized today that C was 9 months yesterday. I didn't even take a picture of that.

This sounds painful.
I haven't had time to watch any of the videos but I believe it has to do with the aftermath of the recent conflict in Gaza.

See, this is where we differ b/c I'm rocking a gingham button down today. The sweet headset is just an added bonus. I think it really rounds out the "cube farm" look.
I think is a UO...I really don't enjoy fast food. I never crave it. I'm not above it or anything. I occasionally get it when I'm in a rush, but I don't love it like a lot of people do. I was hooked on Chipotle for awhile when I was MSPI, but I think I Chipotled myself out.
I don't really care strongly one way or the other about adults doing the ice bucket challenge. I do however think it's just mean to do it to your children. I had a 1 year old pop up in my fb newsfeed doing the ice bucket challenge! Yes a 1 year old! The kid can't even walk yet!
I am one of those parents who will take first day of school pictures every year. We always got a new outfit and took a picture on the first day of school and it is neat to look back on all of those pictures. I'm also a scrapbooker though, so I take ridiculous amounts of pictures.
I don't really know how I feel about the ice bucket challenge and being called out and told to donate money to a specific organization, but there is a reason behind the dumping of ice water on yourself. It is supposed to mimic some of the symptoms of ALS. "The water temporarily affects the body’s
muscles and nervous system, making it difficult to move limbs and even
breathe. These are some of the symptoms that ALS sufferers have, but for
the long-term."
Yes, it is still gimmicky, but at least it has it's roots in trying to spread awareness through experience in a small way.
I think bed sharing is dangerous (at least at my house), but I can find no other solution for getting L to sleep bn the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 am.
Just read up on how to do it safely, then go for it. You both need your sleep. We started out using bed sharing as a band aid. But now I love it so much that I don't ever want her to leave.
