Baby number 2, let's do this!

Hello all!  I just got my BFP this evening! I'm 12 DPO and I thought I was out!  7 DPO I started spotting which turned into a moderate flow.  It was 7 days before my period, so I barely considered implantation bleeding because it was so heavy and lasted 3-4 days.  Well, when I started testing for my surge on what I thought was cycle day 6, it was blaring positive.  I thought that was weird, for it to be automatically positive and I had a suspicion.  I used the same urine and dipped a Wondfo pregnancy test and it was positive! Biggest shock of my life!!  Here I thought I was starting a new cycle, bleeding had stopped days before, but I was getting very clear positives! I tested with FRER and a digital which all came back positive.  Anyone else have experience with somewhat heavy implantation bleeding?

I'm celebrating for now because bleeding was very light for a period (for me), stopped days ago, got blaring positives, and I'm still feeling the subtle early cramps that I felt with my first pregnancy.  My expected due date is May 7, 2015.  Congrats all you May Mommas, I'm so excited to join you after all!!

Welcome and congrats! I only had an almost unnoticeable amount (only visible on TP when I wiped and only for one day), but heavier implantation bleeding is not unheard of! Make sure to check out the newbie post and take a look at the May 2015 blog and add your due date to the spreadsheet!

Congrats! I also had some red implantation (assuming) bleeding/spotting between 8-9 dpo. I thought that I had my period, dipped a FRER and was shocked when it was positive at 9 dpo. My doctor's didn't seem concerned since it stopped and the tests are still +. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations!!  We're expecting #2 too!  I have heard about implantation bleeding but never had it.  Wow!  How scary for you.  Glad everything is ok now.

This time around I know what to expect, so I think I'm a bit more nervous haha!  But it's an amazing experience and I'm really excited.

I bled a little bit the day before I was supposed to have. Blood text. Thought I was out for the month so I took a HPT and was surprised when it said positive. I called my nurse and she said its a lot more common then we think. Of course I'm on vaginally progesterone which can also cause bleeding. But I haven't had any since do I think mine was related to implantation too. Congratulations!

Congrats!  I haven't had any spotting or implantation bleeding.  A friend of mine who had a baby last year thought she had her period one cycle and got pregnant the cycle after that, but when she went in for her 8-week ultrasound she found out she was actually 13 weeks along.  Her "period" was actually implantation bleeding.
