PIP what you plan to wear (or did wear) to your baby shower

So my baby shower is this coming weekend, and I don't really know what I should wear or what stores will have cute maternity dresses/skirts. I've so far gotten away with buying few maternity clothes since I wear scrubs to work. It's a family shower at a fairly casual location, so I figure I don't need to dress up too much (my only maternity dress is more of a wedding/funeral kind of dress). Please help me with what I should wear. If you can I'd love some pics of what you plan to wear or wore to your shower. Thanks a lot ladies!

I bought a bunch of stuff from asos hoping something would work out but nothing did. I wouldn't recommend them. But, nothing lost, free two day shipping and free returns !

I had my shower on the 16th. I had a heck of a time finding a dress that would work! I finally found one at Target! I added a belt, dangly earrings, and some cute shoes!

Love the K-State sock monkey! I just painted my toenails purple to get ready for football season. 

Thanks ladies for all the ideas! Hopefully I can find something relatively easy on Friday... nothing like putting things off until the last minute. Whoops!

I'm going to be wearing jeans.  My shower is sports themed so I'm wearing my White Andrew Luck jersey

I'm wearing a striped navy/kelly green maxi skirt and some kind of v-neck tee. I'll wear a long necklace with it. I'd show you, but it's in the washer.

I'm not certain. I did buy a pink/coral liz Lange dress at goodwill the other day. I might use that. I also have a maxi dress that's lace-like at the top & coral on the bottom. Either are contenders.

This is from my shower with DS. Just a maxi dress from old navy. I was 32 weeks along here.

Not having a shower this time around. 2nd showers aren't common around here

Mine is a costume party/Halloween theme so I've just ordered this shirt and am wearing it with some giant beehive hair and black pants ;-)

I have to dress up everyday at work, and so I have way more dressy clothes then casual (I live at work pretty much) so I don't plan on buying a special outfit, I'll just wear one of them. I have many dressy tops and dress pants. I don't do dresses/skirts. Just never liked wearing them. They are SUPER cute on other people though.

My shower is Oct. 12th and all the cute dresses out now seem to be sleeveless. I'm waiting for some more fall stuff to come out as I want at least short-sleeved if not 3/4.

Although they are pricey, Nordstrom has some super cute ones.

Here's a pic, it was the only good place I could think of to hang them. You can tell though that they are close in color, the short is slightly more pink & both are airy.

Coral is such a pretty color. Especially if you're actually tan (I'm not). I still vote the maxi!

I have absolutely no idea. My shower isn't until Octover 12th (yay @JamieK1882), and I will probably just look around casually til the week before, then panic because I have nothing. Lol. I woul love a cutesy dress, but I guess I'll just have to see what I find. Dresses tend to make me feel like a buffalo unless I'm holding my stomach to give the front of me more shape!'

No doubt. I'm borderline "petite" but am rather short-waisted, so run into a lot of the same issues. My sister gave me a presumably ankle-length skirt to borrow that will apparently only work for me if worn as a strapless dress...
So, yeah, I'm still looking around. My shower isn't until 10/4 but my niece is getting baptized Sunday so I need something.
