Update on Me!

Last Thursday I had a hysteroscopy to find and remove scar tissue from the 3 D&C's I've had. The procedure was successful and the Doctor said the scar tissue was even more minor then they expected. I have been cleared to TTC!!

The TTC game plan is going to consist of Femara + trigger shot + IUI + post O vaginal progesterone pills. I still have to take the injection course this week and finish one last blood test before I can go off BCP and start the medicated cycle. I'm so excited to just be cleared to TTC!

Hi @MyFirstRaspberry! Thanks for the check-in. How's everything with you?

My trip was delayed until the Friday, so I'm online afterall. Packing is going pretty well, but I've still been pretty edgy, nonetheless.

A little good news--my CD3 bloodwork all came back within normal range. Still waiting on the results of my US. Most likely they'll be ready tomorrow am. Based on how the scans look, my doctor may send me for a sonohysterogram. We'll see.

So happy at your news @MyFirstRaspberry‌ !! I have bloodwork tomorrow, to look at my levels, as well as test my thyroid, blood clotting, diabetes, and rheumatoid factor. Then I've got a sonohysterogram on Thursday. Anxious to get it all over with and hopefully get some answers either way soon.

Ladies, I am having a pity party.  I was passed over for a promotion at work that my boss more or less told me was "mine" a few times.  I interviewed well this week, and today it was announced who the new person would be.  I did not get a phone call or a message from my boss, I got an automated email telling me that I was not chosen.  I feel like I've been working hard for nothing the past few years, and I feel like my boss mislead me by telling me she wanted me in that position, and then emailing me to make sure I had applied, and then hiring someone else.  Someone close to the situation told me that it was out of her hands, because the HR lady was going to hire whomever she wanted to, but I am still angry.  I wanted the pay raise, and now someone with less experience than me is going to be my supervisor.  I'm effing thrilled.  I'm sorry this was long--but this is fresh and I'm pretty peeved.

In terms of TTC, everything is going well so far.  CD 3 scan was good, and I started another cycle of Femara.  I have to go back on Saturday to see how everything's looking.  I think it might be too early, at CD11, but since the office is closed for the holiday Monday, it will have to do.  

QOTW: I liked all the late 90's pop and alternative (weird combo, right?)

@myfirstraspberry: YAY! Being cleared for TTC is awesome news!

@superwife425 - Ugh!!! How frustrating that you were overlooked for a job opportunity you deserve!! I'm so sorry!  Your boss could at least have done you the decency of talking to you before the announcement was made. Such BS!!

Hey @myfirstraspberry thanks for the check in! 

2WW is going OK.....was good until yesterday, then some symptoms from the trigger really started to hit me. Not as bad as with the Ovidril, they gave me a different one this time...but I'm tired and crampy. It's irritating and IMO not fair to have pregnancy symptoms while in a 2WW. I've got about 9 days left so just waiting it out trying to not go crazy lol. 

My DH is leaving soon for an extended period of time for work....so I'll be going through the due date alone and I'm getting myself all worked up about it.

@myfirstraspberry congrats on being cleared to TTC! That's awesome!

eliida glad things are moving forward and taking the next step! That was always nice for me as each step got us closer to where we're hoping to go! 

LauraO11 GL with the SIS and all the bloodwork. Take some painkillers before the SIS if you can..not fun. Hope yours is nice and quick!

superwife425 sorry about not getting a promotion, that really sucks. I don't blame you for being upset. FX for this cycle. Have you done a femara cycle before? It's great they are monitoring you though, I was never monitored on clomid and I probably should have been. I know clomid and femara both really changed when I ovulated, like significantly so better safe that they are checking than waiting and missing it? FX for some happy round egg(s)

Hi ladies.  Unfortunately, my temp drop earlier this week did not signal AF.  It was either a fluke or user error with the BBT so I'm still waiting for AF to show.  So frustrating!  I wasn't great about taking my temp this cycle so I don't think FF picked the right day for my O date so it's hard to predict when AF should arrive.  Any day now...

I'm sorry I've been MIA but work has been crazy and my DH has come down with the chicken pox (he apparently never had it as a kid and we have no idea where he got it from).  I've been working like crazy and having to take care of him and all our normal house stuff.  Also, DH had a very unexpected death in his family.  The circumstances are very tragic and there are tons of loose ends, etc that need to be handled so I've been pretty preoccupied trying to help my ILs figure things out while DH is delirious with fever.  It's been an awesome week.  Please pass the wine!

@CallaLily30 - Oh My, Calla!  You have so much going on right now and not in a good way. I am sending you calming, productive vibes to get you through this crazy time. I really hope YH feels better ASAP. I am so very sorry about the unexpected passing of YH family member. Be gentle with yourself, you are doing the best you can right now. And I'd like to slip a little ute punch in to bring on AF for ya.

@kaynix21:  Yes, this is actually my 3rd cycle.  The first one wasn't great, last month I actually ovulated on my own before they were able to have me trigger, and I'm hoping that this one might be successful! I can imagine that it would be frustrated to not be monitored.  Also, Ovidrel sucks, right? It makes me feel pretty crappy too! FX for you this cycle!

@CallaLily30: Yikes! Chicken pox was pretty unpleasant as a kid--I can't imagine how horrible it is as an adult.  Hope DH feels better soon! Sorry to hear about the death in your family--like Raspberry, I'm sending some calming, healing vibes!

@CallaLily30 that's awful! So sorry for the loss, the impending AF and everything else. As a kid I got chicken pox and gave it to my dad and he was worse than I was about it. Knowing now what babies men are when they're sick and how needy I am when I'm sick, I feel so bad for my mom having to deal with the two of us back then! 

@superwife425 yeah Ovidrel really sucks. Hate that crap. I'm feeling better today, so definitely liking this one they gave me this time better. FX to you as well!

Hey everyone! Things have been a little crazy around here, so I am sorry to post and run! I had a bit of a break down after last cycle. My SIL was pressuring me to hang out with her, but all she wanted to talk about was her pregnancy, which I already told her and my MIL, is really hard for me. I asked them to please be respectful until after September. I don't know why but I feel like I just need to make it through September, and once I do I will be able to be more able to discuss baby things with them. The closing date for the house has been pushed back due to the extra inspections on the mold, but we got a decent report so we felt comfortable taking the credits and moving on! Closing on September 9! :-) Overall, I've been feeling a lot better this cycle with NTNP. I feel like I was putting too much pressure on myself to be pg around the due date. I know that taking this time away from the obsessive charting will be nice to maybe put the romance back into the relationship w/DH. I still haven't heard about the job that I did 4 interviews with (and had extensive conversations with the VP and CEO), so I guess I didn't get it? I followed up with them 2 times and they say to just be patient, but I mean with buying the house we could use the money so I may just have to go into substitute teaching for a bit. Oh well. 

Sending ((hugs)) to you ladies! I hope to be more present next week. I am so glad to hear good news about getting off the bench @myfirstraspberry!

Hi there!  I am so sorry your SIL has not been understanding and respectful of your feelings. To me its about survival, if SIL can't keep her mouth shut then don't hang out with her. It is important for you to stay sane. If your family members truely love you, they will understand.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't heard back on the job. I once interviewed for a job and they told me straight up that it would take 4 weeks for them to get back to me. I thought that was an awful long time but they have a strict HR process they needed to follow.

I'm glad the new home is moving forward. Very exciting!
