Prepping used diapers

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to CDing and hoping to borrow some of your expertise.  DD is going on 3 weeks old and I'm ready to finally start using our CDs on her.  I have a stash that is largely compiled of used pocket diapers and I want to make sure they are good to go before I put them on DD.  It seems like the recommended way is to do a hot wash with a 1/4 cup of bleach and then rinse several times.  Is that correct?  Won't the bleach ruin the coloring on the diapers?

Any opinions you want to contribute will be welcome!

Yes, that's correct.  Bleach won't harm PUL, though I have heard some stories of it fading specialty fitteds like TTs.  I use it on my BGs from time to time with no issues.  By the time you dilute 1/4 cup bleach into a full load of water, you are looking at chlorination levels lower than that of a swimming pool.  So it's really NBD. 
Welcome to the dark side.  Check back in if you have any issues once you get them on the bum.  Oh, and we always like fluff pics!

I prep used like I do my new. I have never used bleach on my diapers. Probably never will. But your plan looks good.
