Hi All- I haven't posted in along time, but I have a potentialy ridiculous question/problem:
My DD is getting her first bottle of formula tomorrow, and I just went to make it ahead of time for daycare. I read the directions, opened the seal, and . . .no scoop. Don't they all come with scoops? Was I supposed to buy my own scoop? Is there a scoop only with certain sizes? It gives a weight equivalent, but how in the heck am I supposed to measure it for volume?
Am I missing something?
Anyone want to figure out what the volume of their scoop is for me?
TIA
Re: Formula scoop? Help!
LOL at go digging...
Anyway... I think the plastic ring is only on goodstart... but yeah, they ALL have scoops.

yes, they're almost always buried. Also, once you make the bottle, they have to be refrigerated and are only good for 24 hours.
If you want to pre-make the bottles and keep them out, they're only good for 1 hr.
Just in case you didn't know already.

I thought premades not in the fridge were good for 2 hrs? that's what Enfamil has on their cannister
Enfamil and Similac don't have a plastic ring (the new Similac has the scoop in the lid). Enfamil's you have to dig for
Oh wow. I went all archeological dig and found it. I thought skimming through the top 2 inches would be good enough . . .
Thanks for your help- hope I gave some people a good laugh:-)
