Galaxy S5 or IPhone 5?

So DH and I don't need the most recent gadgets.   We both still have the IPhone 4.  We have debated switching to Samsung or just upgrading to the IPhone 5 when the 6 is released.  We both have iPads, and my phone also syncs with my MacBook for work.  So we hate to switch, but we have had a lot of problems with the IPhone 4 and I just saw a recall for battery problems in the 5.

So do you have one of these phones?  Which would you recommend?

We are fans of the iProducts. We have iTouches and iPhone 5cs; I have an old iPod, and DH has an iPad.

I'd go with the 5c or 5s.

We have 2 I pads and love them. With that said we have Samsung phones I have the s4 and my dh has the s5. He had the iPhone4 and HATED it (besides it syncing with the ipad). Never going back to using iPhone. Also the s5 is "waterproof" (I use this term loosely. Obviously if you drop it in an 8 foot pool it will mess up) so the spills that you would flip out over if you have an iPhone aren't a big deal. :-) hope this helps.

If I could pick, I would pick S5. I have the 4 and love it. I would love to upgrade.

DH had a galaxy 3 (I think?) and he hated it. Since then, he has switched around to a Droid HD and 3 times he's had to have it replaced because of malfunctions. He switched to a 4s and likes it.

I've only ever had iGadgets. I have an iPad 2, iPod (3 separate ones), and iPhone 4s and 5c. I love them all, but I would definitely wait for the 5c to get marked down once the 6 comes out. I just got the 5c a while ago and I look like this -> ~X(  now that the 6 is coming out and will drive costs down.

I currently have a droid and really, really want the S5.  DH has the S4 and really likes it.  I have a Macbook and an iPod but no other apple products.

Galaxy!!! Its awsome. I dont like iPhones thi. Ill say tho if u switch from apple it will probably be werid for awhile.
My brother was a huge apple fan but got the newest galaxy when it came out and he loves it.

We were Apple fans for years but last year we switched to the Galaxy S4. I love it!

I find it easier to use and you can add a micro SD card if you take lots of pictures so you will never run out of space.
