I'm guessing I've had a chemical pregnancy after my FET. I'd love your input about the next cycle. — The Bump
Trouble TTC a Sibling

I'm guessing I've had a chemical pregnancy after my FET. I'd love your input about the next cycle.

I'm BGG and I've been gone since early 2012 (10 failed iui's, success first round IVF giving us our toddler daughter) but I'm hoping you guys will let me pick your brains.

My beta yesterday was 109.9 but my progesterone was only 5 and I am bleeding heavily and have been since Saturday. Just as a last ditch effort my doc had me go get IM progesterone and I just stuck myself as directed about half an hour ago. My next beta is tomorrow.

I expect that tomorrow my levels will not be increasing sufficiently (though I'd love to hear otherwise). But I'd love to hear from anyone who has had an early IVF loss about when they were able to start their next cycle. I mean, I feel like my period started on Saturday, but I'm also hearing that my period can't actually be starting yet. My plan will be another FET. Anyone know anything about this stuff?

  • Dont have any experience, but good luck and if it turns out to be a loss, I'm sorry :(

  •  You might try asking on the TTCAL board - just don't mention your toddler daughter unless you warn first - most of the women over there are childless.

  • I got mine to change by clicking the little head in the top right corner of the message boards, then clicking preferences, then signatures. Same place you go to turn off seeing other people's signatures off. The other way didn't work for me.

Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

  • It was a loss but I am so fortunate to have additional blastocysts at the ready, a great RE, and success in my past. I am glad that it was such an early loss as I was still in the giddy to be pregnant faze but not yet feeling connected to that particular baby. For now I'll enjoy my wine, and on to the next cycle.
  • Sorry for your loss :(
