s/o Drinking...fall drinks?

We are going to have a football party mid September. It's basically just an excuse to get together with friends. I'll have the usual (beer, wine, fall speciality beers) but I'd like to make an "autumn drink". Not sure what I'm thinking but maybe something with cider? I remember making something in my crockpot that I served warmed a long time ago but now I can't remember what it was. Any drink recipes you can suggest?

There is an Evan Williams Apple Orchard bourbon that I bought last year and loved.  I made mulled apple cider and added that for book club and it was a big hit (and i would drink it on its own afterward!).  I also pinned a recipe for an apple pumpkintini that sounded good.

Would it be cold enough for hot buttered cider? I mix up everything but the booze and let it simmer in my crockpot, everyone can then add their own alcohol or none at all to their cups.
