Video monitor recommendations?

in Nurseries and Baby Gear

DD will be sharing a room with DS when he starts sleeping in the crib so we want to upgrade from an audio-only monitor to one with video.  Any recommendations?  Ideally we could have one that can be viewed through the smart phones, but I have heard most of those are unreliable.  Recommendations/thoughts/etc.?

    We are lucky to have a nephew who is an IT specialist and is creating us a system with webcam type cameras with night vision.  I would go with the Motorola if that was not an option!

    I love my Motorola MBP36. Some people have complained about it but we have had ours for almost 2 years and when we had an issue a few months ago, they replaced it for free even though it was outside the 1 year warranty. Great customer service.
