I could honestly go either way. Sometimes I'm like "I hope this is a girl!" and sometimes "I hope this is a boy!" I voted boy because DH really wants a boy (although he would be excited about a girl too) and my dad wants a grandson - he had all girls and would like a boy in the family.
I will weigh in on my own thread! We both would definitely pick girl. Not that boys are bad, and not that we wouldn't love the hell out of a son, we both have just always pictured a daughter. I am predicting we will get our wish, H is predicting we will get a boy.
I would really love a girl so that I have one of each. My husband would really like another boy and we would both like DS to have a brother. We will be happy either way!
We've both always joked that we would want a boy because I worked in group homes with teens who had behavioral problems, and the girls' home was much more...trying! Ha But now that we're actually expecting and we picked a girl name the day we found out, I think we're both hoping for a girl. We both really connected with the name. As long as we have a healthy baby, I don't really care though!
I honestly don't care but since we've had boy, girl, boy, girl, it only makes sense to have a boy.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
I chose girl because I really would love to experience both - however, I just want a healthy baby! I looooooooove being a boy mom, so it would be so exciting to have another boy as well!

I really don't care either way but if it's a boy then it will be the 3 rd grandson on both sides and a 4th great grandson for my grandma. I know how excited the rest of my family would be if it was a girl!
I always asumed that my girst born will be a girl! I do hope for 1 but i would be just as happy with a healthy boy, i can't wait to find out to start planning!
I would really like a boy. DH and I both thought our first was a boy and we have a girl. We both adore having a girl; DH actually says this on an almost daily basis! So I know we would be thrilled with another girl.
However, DH is a really guys' guy. He works on cars, builds things, and is renovating our basement basically on his own with the help of his dad. He is really close with his dad, who was his best man at our wedding. I would love for DH to have a son with whom he could build that same sort of relationship!
We are both really hoping for a girl this time around. I have a 11-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter and I'd love for her to have a sister. I just haven't wrapped my head around the idea of a boy yet. I'll be anxiously waiting to find out!

We are planning on being done at two, technically three. My husband has a 13 year old daughter and we have a son together. My husband would love to have another son, I think it would be nice to have a little girl and experience all the little girl things. That being said another little boy would be just as awesome.
I didn't vote because I honestly couldn't/wouldn't ever want to pick. That is the God's honest truth. We have a son, so it sure would be great to have a little girl also, but I have lots of brothers, so being a full-on boymom would be awesome too.
A long time ago, I had in my head what I might want and in what order but not anymore.

I do want both but for our first one we hope it's a girl. So far his side of the family has only produced boys since his mom had 3 and now we have 4 nephews, they are wanting a girl.
I said girl only because I would love to have at least one girl. We're hoping to have 3-4 kids. However I would be thrilled with a boy too! It would be so fun for DS to have a brother so close in age. Like many said..a healthy baby is all I want
If I could pick, I would love another son. I love the dynamic of same sex siblings and I LOVE being a boy mom. However I will be ecstatic if it's a girl and think that Levi will be a great big brother to a sister. Honestly I think I'm afraid of having a daughter because I'm afraid of having a teenaged mini me. Yikes!
I am one of 4 girls in my family and between myself and 2 of my sisters we have 5 boys and 1 girl. It would be nice to add a girl to the mix!

3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012. 4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015
I picked girl only because it's what we've talked about more and it's easier for me to picture. We've discussed girl names and have a couple picked out, but haven't really talked about boys at all.
First and foremost a healthy baby! I have been holding out on DDs nice wardrobe just in case another girl came along the way and would be terrified for 2 teenage/college girl versions of myself but would be happy because being a girl mom has been fun! Although, I would love to experience a boy and I know DH may be a tiny bit disappointed if it's not a boy since we're planning to only have 2. Since twins run in my family it would be my luck for both. :-S At which point I would then become so overwhelmed with love but officially BSC.
With DD1 I really wanted a girl. With DD2 we wanted a boy, so we could have one of each and be done. Turned out 2 girls so close in age is perfect. With this one, I'm hoping for a girl since it has the same due date as DD1 so we have all the clothes. DH is hoping for a boy, which I'd also be fine with since I'm not sure how we would survive 3 teen girls in the house at once.
It doesn't really matter too much to me. We ready have a daughter and a son. In some ways it would be easier if it were a boy because he and DS could easily share a room. DD and the we baby will be 6 years apart so that would make room sharing harder. We shall see!
I'm so torn! I've always said I wanted a girl (DH desperately wants a girl!) but lately I've been feeling it for a boy. I'm not sure why. I think because our boy names are set, girl names I am really struggling to love anything and the one I do DH hates.
I have a big brother that I loved being somewhat protective of me. So in a dream world, since I had such a good experience, I'd like to start with a boy and end with a girl.
Happy and healthy is what I'm praying for though. Very excited for our first pregnancy!
