This check-in is for mommas who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommas who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August.

QOTW: What is your current beauty or makeup obsession?

I guess I will get the ball rolling! Thank you for the check-in @mara005.  How are you doing this week?  Have you and your DH had any new thoughts regarding your decisions?

@NoeliaV: Did you call a nurse/ doc to ask about your concerns? 

I am right now waiting to O (I've been feeling like it's going to happen for a week! I know I need to start temping). My appt to see an RE is on Thursday. I am really nervous--I have been for the past weeks.  I think that my DH can come with me, and he's a doctor, so he should help me get real answers to my questions and to understand what the doctor says.

I'm working right now on a paper for a conference in Istanbul in 2 weeks, and I'm very excited about that! My grandma will be my travel companion.

As far as beauty products: I love DevaCurl Gel to make my wavy hair manageably curly and I have this orange blossom scent--not really a perfume but kind of a water. It smells amazing!

My FET cycle failed miserably, and I am trying to figure out if I have IF coverage to help me cycle again this year.  (I never did before, but the terminology on my insurance has changed and I may actually get some help.)

Sorry, not much to add.  I feel like work and figuring out my next cycle are my life right now.

Lots of loves and hugs to anyone who needs them this week!

Yesterday was a beautiful day spent at the beach with DH.  It was awesome and so relaxing.  Definitely kept my mind off things.  Right now I'm about 12 DPO and just holding off testing the best I can.  My past BFPs never showed up until 15 DPO so I figure it's not worth testing yet.

I am not a huge beauty product fanatic.  The one thing I HAVE to have is Oil of Olay.  My mom has used it for 40+ years, she's 63 years old and not one wrinkle!  So I've been using it religiously since I was around 18 or 19.  Plus it has SPF in it too!

@sfazar No, I hadn't yet. I thought we would finish this cycle and then maybe call. I hadn't even brought it up to DH yet, although I suspect he would be supportive either way. FX for a good RE visit for you!

@dawnstar898 FX FX FX that you make it to CD15 and beyond. It sounds like you made a lovely day of your EDD date.

AFM: 10dpo with terrible timing and some pink spotting on CD8 and CD9, which I've never had so early before. Last cycle, I had pink spotting at CD10, and previously I only had occasional brown spotting around CD11+. DH was all "maybe you're pregnant" and I couldn't muster any enthusiasm, I was just like " :: shrug :: maybe." I don't want to test until 14dpo because BFNs put me in a horrible mood :P

QOTW: Um, dry shampoo? Facial cleaning wipes? Sign me up for anything that saves time/cuts out a step, at the moment. I used to spend buckets of money at Sephora, but now, not so much.

Afternoon ladies, sorry I've been so busy the past couple days.

@sfazar- two days until your appointment, eek!!! And a conference in Istanbul?!? Wow so exciting!

@Lundlebean- ((hugs)) sorry for this cycle and I hope you can figure out this insurance issue.

@NoeliaV- FX this is your cycle. I know what you mean about BFNs, that's one of the reasons why I don't test early.

@dawnstar898- ((hugs)) sounds like you had a nice day. I hope this is your cycle of a bfp!

AFM: I'm in a bit of a funk about my EDD tomorrow, trying to figure out what to do, what I want to post on FB about it and hoping I can make it through the day without crying to much.
I'm still waiting O, gah! I'm on CD 21, I can only imagine that the stress of my hsg has delayed it. But we are at a stand still until AF gets here.

QOTW: I love chapstick, I can't have enough of them. All different brands and flavors. But honestly the bets one for healing chapped lips is Carmex. Smells awful but you get use to it.

AFM now that we're a few months into child free and past our last edd and doing well emotionally, I find myself here less and less. You ladies have helped tremendously so please know while I probably won't be checking in here much at all I hope you all find your rainbow. As I distance myself from this chapter of my life I will post less and less and this check in is my first to drop simply because I've successfully made it through my edd. Much love to you fellow Aug ladies.
